Outstanding Value 24" FullHD LCD Monitor

    Chaps,
    Check this out.

Its an outstanding value LCD Monitor with VGA, DVI, HDMI and component input.

I picked one up and the PS3 and PC look awesome on it and as its 1080p FD resolution no black bars like on a regular PC screen.

Only downsides is that its a TN screen which means viewing angles are not ideal.

for 200 notes you can't really go wrong.

There is also a slightly cheaper 23" version.

    Neil.

      Cool.

I saw this. I also heard BenQ had a great screen.

This Dell is proper 16:9 right? No strechy 16:10 image? I didn't know that it had component either! Very cool, we don't get that on the Euro model over here.

Here is some discsussion on it:

Look what has suddenly appeared on the US Dell site. Certainly didn’t expect a new 24” monitor on the horizon! Specs wise, it is a Full HD monitor (1,920 x 1,080 panel), it has VGA/DVI/HDMI sockets a 5-ms response time and a 1,000: 1 contrast ratio. The most impressive part however is the...

Hmm I don't get it, how can he use that cable when it doesn't have an input for eg the Wii component cable? I mean there will be two sets of male RCA jacks, right?

Ah that's what I was thinking. I'll probably try that out then when I get the monitor. Thanks!

Got it today, using it now... wow its nice. PS3 looks incredible on it. Only problem I have found is that the audio from the HDMI takes a few seconds to kick in, but not really a big deal.

shame they don't do a 30-32" one. Looking for a bargain one at the moment. Plenty around the £300 mark but no 1080p ones and I can't find any decent reviews.

Camera is playing up so this pic really doesn't do it justice. It looks perfect in real life

Honeymustard why did you have to go and post pics?! :P

I was tempted before just looking at specs and the thing on paper, now you've posted pics, and it looks like a superb monitor I'm even more tempted!

Seriously though - very nice indeed - have you tried it with any Games/other HD content yet?

You should get it, it's definitely worth it

I'll try my 360 on it later. Also I'll be getting a component>DVI converter so I can try my PS2 and Wii. I noticed there's an option to change the mode from RGB to YPbPr in the menu, so it should work out nicely.

I want to try a blu ray on it, but I don't have any yet lol.

so there isn't an actual component input on the monitor ? only vga/dvi/hdmi ?

as i'm tempted too for a dual screen setup on my pc with one and then put the hdbox pro on my other monitor
