As Nintendo UK failed to reply to either of my emails requesting support I phoned them and was told as expected that they would not be able to service my Wii as it was a Japan model with "totally different parts". Ha ha, laughable, they must think we're stupid. Nothing to do with protecting regional profit margins then by not offering support? Of course not.

Anyway despite the disc drive having been hardly used, its making unpleasant noises and clearly needs repairing. I'm well outside warranty, does anyone have any recommendations for a UK based Wii repair company, else I'll get a screwdriver out myself...
