Converting a DC Arcade stick into a PS2 stick.

Yep if there is enough space inside you could do that, would have to sort out a way of putting the batteries in, then again if they last long enough it wouldnt be too bothersome to unscrew the metal panel at the bottom of the dc stick.

Well couldnt you just solder 2 wires to each button, with one set going to a ps2 pad, and one set to a gc pad - and just plug into the console you want?

Sounds like a good idea, but is there any danger of blowing the circuits of on one pad when plugged into the other console, (cross feed of signals/power etc)?

Any better ways of doing it, like going through a rotating switch block for console selection?

I'd like to do this myself, because the chance of getting hold of a Namco arcade stick these days is Zero, and importing a decent PS2 stick a bit pricey!
