Actually, yes. That is exactly what you said.

FWIW I have the US version of FFVII because it is superior to the PAL release. I saw no reason to make the game more difficult by buying the Japanse version though. I've got othing against people using the Japanese store but why limit yourself?

I've covered this too, but from my mobile device I cannot be bothered to go back and quote.
You WOULD have to be brain-damaged to buy a JPN RPG title, or indeed anything else that is text heavy. BUT, and this is the point I am trying to get across. The JPN store has a wealth of fully-playable titles that are not available elsewhere. You'd certainly be a fool in my eyes if you did not at least go and take a look at them.

I'm washing my hands of this thread now. It's pointless trying to be anything other than an elitist prick here.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

        @FSW.

Thanks for answering my account question. I had a feeling it'd be the same as the 2000 / 3000 but had a slight hope that you might be able to select your log-in account whenever you switched the machine on like you can with PS3.

Ah well. At least with the Bluetooth I can use my iPhone as a modem. Is that right?

Yeah with firmware 6.10 it adds Bluetooth Tethering to PSP Go! meaning you can indeed hook it upto your Iphone or any other mobile phone for easy PSN downloads and more.

PSP Go! wins, Joe. You lose.

Can't wait to get mine. You need one, Joe. Sony made it.

I can't get one until November 1st. I can't get to grips with X being go and O being no. Plus I refuse to have to pretend to lower my I.Q. in order to be mauled by the staff of GAME or such forth trying to make me buy some cheap third-party item or a game that I've already owned for 18 months.
I find having to avoid customs taxes way more exciting.

For anybody who is importing one of these and is wondering about charging it from the mains, all you need is a standard UK power lead. They used to be really common don't seem to be used as much now, looking online they seem to be called C7 Figure 8 cables.

The AC adaptor that I got with my US version (May be different different depending on the region) has these ratings:
                  Input - 100v-240v
                  0.2a
                  50/60Hz

That doesn't mean anything to me apart from knowing that the UK & US are safe to use it. I don't know if there are any regions which supply electricity but if you live in one of those places then you probably already know.

No, you can't get to the battery on the Go (at least not without taking it apart).

Account is a bit of a mess. Have purchased successfully games from PSN networks in Japan and Europe using different accounts from my PS3, this works fine. You ccan purchase the games, upload them on the PSP GO.

BUT, now comes the challenge. You can not play games at the same time...you have to switch from account to account to play the game from the respective region.

This is really a pain because :
                            - there is no keyboard (of course), but input takes time
                            - you need to be connected to the WiFi network to change your settings.

Looking for a way to have fast account switch or to play games from multiple regions.

Sony should be ashamed to make it so difficult....We are not even talking about pirating games but buying games you can not play ! This never was the case with UMD or PS3 games before....

Anybody has a solution, let me know !

Does anyone know if there's a way of organising my games on a PSP Go other than deleting them all and copying them back on in the order I want them?

Also, any case recommendations? I got one of those leathery type ones that it actually clips into as if you're supposed to play it with the case still on but I find that awkward and it adds more bulk than it needs to. Any good slim cases?

Unfortunately not. It's driving me mad keep re-ordering them everytime I buy something new, and it's not even my PSP. I'll turn the boy into an elitist fool if it's the last thing I do.

There's an offical slip case available. It's made by 4Gamers I think. I saw it in HMV t'other day.
