Yep just tested it it doesnt work on a crystal pal or a black pal box just to make sure.how ever it is the best nfl game yet madden has a lot to do to beat this and yest its online playable on a usa console in the uk.

Good day all, a very handy thread this..

I'm probably being silly, and missed something which already answers this... so my apologies in advance... but a game like Splinter Cell 2 is region free correct? So, does that mean a PAL version will work ok on my US Xbox?

Havent got anything to play on it yet you see, tempted to rent this from Blockbusters if it will work

The game supports X-Box Live (for real fighting action).


The game is using "W-code" which means when you use a NTSC-J Xbox, it will have Japanese wordings. If you use a NTSC-U/C Xbox, it will come up with English wordings.


Consequently the game can be played on NTSC/J or NTSC/U/C Xbox consoles.

At least i hope it does
