Could this be wireless interference from a neighbour? Have you tried testing the Wii in other rooms/houses?

Maybe you can change the wireless channel for the speakers?

It only seems to have one frequency.
Well unless I get another set and use it as a 7.1 system, then I can change it.
But that might not even do anything.

This is a good tip. That's how I located the problem in my house.
Try upstairs in the bedroom or something like that.

This has happened to me and it drove me nuts. Tried all sorts. The solution... Draw the curtains (artists need not apply), that's right, direct sunlight was causing. Crack on guys...
