      Neither Resident Evil 2, 3 nor Code Veronica supported 60Hz... but if you booted them using Freeloader, they ran in 60Hz automatically. Bizarre.

      You're right in saying that NTSC is the way to go, but REmake looks rather nice on an LCD even in 480i.

        oh boy, I swear I remember it having a 60Hz option? will have to try it. its been years.

        I can't emulate it either which would be silly because I own it! I have a measly c2d 1.8 laptop .

          Don't worry, REmake and RE Zero do have 60Hz. Just not the others.

                Having played through REmake recently, I found the difference between LCD/component and CRT/RGB to be that you could more clearly see the gap in quality between the character models and the backgrounds. Mind you, the LCD is a monitor, and they're supposed to be extremely **** at scaling.
