I have a Oppo BDP-83 Multi-Region player which I think is sublime. Hopefullu the BDP-93 will have the same multi-region treatment upon its release so I can upgrade. On a side note anyone know if the Pioneer LX91 supports 3D?

    Thanks (sorry to hijack)

      No, the LX91 is a 2009 model.

Some of them are very easy. The DIY kits for the Oppo BDP-83 and 80 just involve unplugging a ribbon cable from the motherboard and slotting a chip in there. No soldering at all, and it's easily removed if you have warranty problems.

I too am interested in a region A Bluray player, not exceeding the ?200 mark. I would like something to go along side my pal ps3. Any good recommendations? Whats the best site to buy from in the Uk?

          Cheers.

The Oppo is easy yeah, in fact it's somewhat like the Sega Saturn mod chips - the rest of them are woeful though.

Redstar_dan: if you look around the classifieds section of AVForums you might find a good deal.
