Scratches on Plasma screen

Lol, I was just coming in here to say perhaps this is a good excuse for an upgrade mate

I have just been looking at Panny GT30 46" 3D Plasma's & they are sub ?1k now with 2 pairs of glasses

How old is your set btw? My brothers Panasonic plasma went wrong last week and just squeaked in under the 3 year guarantee so he was pretty lucky. Well unlucky too as his Samsung monitor was the cause of the problem...it went POP and shorted the electrics and the surge affected the 46" plasma >.<

It's about 2 & half years old now (Bought it in time for the World Cup in 2010) but I did get Panasonics free 5year guarantee with it.

Not sure I'd be covered for this though??
