Takes wayyy too long to rip stuff on my laptop, I've pretty much given up. Annoying as I'd prefer not to torrent but I can download a DVD in a tenth of the time it'd take to rip...

The PC is quad core running at 2.2Ghz, I used recommended settings from another site, no extra filters or anything. Something went wrong.

i was using a mixture of dvddecryptor and handbrake to rip and convert to mp4 to stream to my apple tv2 and ipad2 and no faults with both those software it was just a time issue for me as with my 800 odd dvd collection i think i got to about 30 done over the course of a 3 months and then the wife was getting the hump withme so found these guys digiraw.com and they had my collection done within 2 weeks...it cost me but the enjoyment since then has far out weighed that!

ha ha busted nah i dont work for them but they are a local community company and have recently launched nationwide...the owners are nice chaps so i said i would help them spread there good work and word to the masses where ever i can....gotta support local businesses eh? and plus they did a really good job on my collection....its that age old thing isnt it people always talk up the negative about things and stuff in life but not the positives...i still use handbrake and decryptor for my ongoing dvd purchases these guys just helped me get back upto date so to speak

Agree with you on the local business thing.

Wish someone had ripped my CD collection to FLAC files for me - it took me months.

nice one on the agreed factor...

Ah i bet that was a complete pain at the time but no doubt its a worthwhile pain now though as your enjoying the ripped files!

Yeah these guys digitize in mp3 format for audio and mp4 format for video....although there website says about contacting them for any other format types...
