Import Madness...what are they like?

Anyone used them before? Their site seems pretty good.

Reliability? Speed of service? Good packagaing? Customs-friendly?

I noticed they're not in the list of recommended retailers? Is there a reason why?

I read three seperate threads and they all said they took about 2-3 weeks to deliver. I'll give them a miss - I wanted to order Mario and Luigi (for ?22) but I won't bother if it'll take weeks to arrive

Although ?23 plus $10 shipping (?6 ish) and I wouldn't get it until Monday or Tuesday. The PAL version will be about that price anyway and I'd have it for the weekend

Ignore the comments in the forum-99% of people opt for bog standard delivery, no wonder it takes 2-3 weeks! Pay the ?4.95 for 5 day courier delivery.

I ordered Burnout 2 from them-arrived 3 days later. I ordered True Crime last week, took 5 working days. And their prices are very low. So order from them, and pay the ?4.95 for 5 day delivery. I also cancelled MK from them and they emailed back within hours to confirm, and sent a worldpay receipt asap.

Thread resurection.... have Import Madness gone under? It looks like the site hasn't been updated in a month, and an order I placed back then hasn't been updated, charged or shipped. No replies to numerous emails either.

Not sure but they have been scaling back over the last few years. They used to carry Japanese titles too (in the import section) but no longer do.

As for service, I've been very impressed. I bought US launch PSP and DS from them and they arrived really quickly with no customs and no hassle.
Any game orders I've placed have been the same so a big thumbs up from me.

Thread brought back from the depths

Ordered a couple of PS2 games from them last month on 23rd of Jan, got order confirmation e-mail straight away as to be expected. Order status changed to shipped on 25th Jan, they charged my card same day. After that, haven't heard or seen anything... no order dispatched e-mail, tracking number etc. Sheesh.

I've tried e-mailing them, they don't reply. I hate paying for thin air.

Edit: Oh, and I paid for Fedex International 2-3 day delivery aswell, which cost 17 quid. That was definitely money well spent.

Took me 2 months and filing a fraud complaint with my bank to get a refund for some Wii games that were listed in stock. I'd never use them again.
