    PSP Go CFW help

Ok so I've successfully installed 6.60 pro-c2 to my psp go.
I've downloaded an emulator pack from wololo.net, unzipped it and copied it into the psp go file 'PSP'/'GAME' is that correct? Every time I try the file just shows up as 'Corruped Data' on the psp system storage.

What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated.

Are you reloading the firmware each time you power on? Cfw isn't permanent on the GO.

I don't know what emulator you've downloaded, but basically all emulators go into the PSP/GAME folder within their own directory. For example, you might if you have downloaded the Picodrive emulator, you might have a folder called 'Picodrive' (or whatever you want to call it) within PSP/GAME, and inside this folder will be the eboot.pbp and other files.

Also note that the CFW has to be manually executed from the XMB every time you turn the PSP on, using the FastRecovery file.

Thats we're they are going- PSP/GAME/psp emulator pack 2012.rar

I know about the fast recovery stuff and I run it everytime the psp is turned on.

Maybe I'll try installing the emus individually rather than from this bulk download pack???..

            Ah.

RAR is an achieve file. You need to unpack it.

That will be the reason it isn't working.

Unpack with a program on your PC such as 7zip or WinRAR.

What files do you actually have within the PSP/GAME/psp emulator pack 2012 directory?

Loads of stuff, as you know I'm a complete novice at this stuff. I've just junked that whole emu pack thing and I'm going to download the emus I want elsewhere individually. I've just done picodrive and it works

                  Thanks anyway guys.

Yes but what do I need to play them? Popsloader? How do I do that?

Popsloader makes them from an ISO to an eboot.

The firmware has a version of the PS1 emulator built in,, so you don't need to download Popsloader separately unless you need a specific version of Poploader for some reason (maybe for problem games).

You can either rip your own discs into ISO format and use an application called PSX2PSP to convert them into a bootable PSP eboot format, or search the web for pre-compiled eboot versions of games.
