Colour doesn't seem that great, but that may just be down to your camera.

Lovely shots the colour one gets with a Plasma is always great

Picked up a gefen vga to dvi converter for the Some nice Dreamcast / atomiswave scaling. It auto corrects the dcs vga output to 720x480 too. Should look well tasty on a 1200p monitor. Will give it a rattle through the FM too, for some scanline to see what the quality is like.

Only an iPad pic, but it was looking so lovely I thought I'd make my first addition to the thread

The thing that's really wowed me about the PVM is the brightness - it really is amazing. It's like a lighthouse!

I'd really love to pick up a pvm, is eBay the best place to look?

It must be all the radiation![emoji38]

                    It's good for ya!

eBay not the best place for a PVM, but that's how I got mine so...

I would say decide on 15 or 31kHz, screen size then just see what's available locally

If you're going for 20" then a BVM is the score, but they're hyped on eBay definitely

A 29" PVM would be a great thing to get

                    31kHz seek an L5

Overall top items but they don't fall into your lap (thank f***!) Good luck!

                      L5 do 720p/1080i too!

I've gotten all of my PVM from eBay. Try to find one locally with collection only and a low starting bid, that way you're likely to not pay more than ?30. If you need model advice, just ask here. Lower end PVM only support composite and s-video with higher end ones supporting RGB and component - which is what you want.

Actually I think your consumer set would kick out more "radiation". ;P

CRT radiation cancelled by the glass I think?

I was just thinking of that Simpson's episode when there was a Homer shadow burned into the carpet.

Not quite a framemeister, but some pics of my new geffen vga - dvi scaler in action

Soul calibur upscaled to from 720x480 to 1600x1200 (proper aspect). Never have i seen the dreamcast looking so good....totally blown away

I cant believe the detail this brings up. Going to give a good spread of software a test drive. More pics soon!

Wouldn't it be 640x480 to 1600x1200? Even then, 480 only goes into 1200 2 and a half times. Doesn't seem "perfect".

I'm sure it looks dandy though.
