      I've got two (one I must sell - bid on two and won both!) and they look great, no noticeable lag for me. Of course you have to route the sound to the TV separately or to another target, like an amp.

      Some good reviews at the retrogaming.hazard-city.de and shmups.system11.org sites. However, a lot of the shmups people use them in conjunction with a XRGB3 or DVDO Edge. I use as it is, though thinking of adding in a scanline generator at the Dreamcast end (Hanzo box perhaps).

        If you have the room look out for Panasonic pro plasmas. They only have a VGA/composite/svid as standard but other cards are available for HDMI/Component etc but rare these days.
        These can be bought for <?100 often much less and for retro gear are superb.
        Charles had one recently for sale.
