    Well I played RE:CV at the time of it's release and back then it looked great. The camera moving with your charcter made things look more dramatic which helped with the atmosphere as opposed to a fixed camera which makes things look and move disjointed.

    Some of the areas in RE remake look odd next to the 3d characters since the character isn't actually in a background but in a picture. Look at the room with the 3 suits of armour, it's like seeing something move around in a painting. Alot of the environments look completely stactic as well. Of course I gotta admit other areas do look amazing.

    If you look at the mansion in the footage of RE4 before the game got changed you can see what is possible on the GC with 3d backgrounds and it looks way better than the mansions found RE1 and 0. Comparing 3d backgrounds on the DC with pre rendered ones made specifically for the GC is unfair though.
