Nah because this mod is so useful, and not for playing dodgy pirate games, it will of course be more desirable to have a modded one than an unmodded one, simply because of the way it nearly completely unlocks the machine, US/JPN games, all region dvds.
Q players have been going for ?150-?160 on ebay!Comment

Ill offer a small reward to anyone who knows where to get the Q modded in this country.
IMO its best to get it modded as it makes it a much better machine/more user friendly and if you are never going to sell (like me) who cares on its value.

Almost makes it worth getting another if i found on cheap haha, one modded and one not....
i wouldnt pay 150-160 for a Q mod, altho i did pay 110 for a PS2 one when the messiah first came out ?_? go figure
anyway holding onto it until the need becomes a must to sell... jus wanted peoples opinions

I would say sell it mate, unless you really like the look of it and get enjoyment from it, dont hold on to it in the hope it will one day be worth somthing.
When I was in my late teens, early 20's I held onto loads of games, and other stuff, that would make me money, and yeah they did, but, now I am in my thirties I don't fuking need, I earn enough to buy what I want when I want.
I look back at how I used to miss out on certain parties etc. because I had bought a certain game from somewhere that I thought would become valuble and yeah it may have cost me ?30 then and now worth ?80, but so what, I bet over 90% of people on here that work fulltime earn that in a day??
And so what if your gamecube cost you ?400 or ?500 to buy back in 10 years time, you will probably be earning twice as much then anyway so it will not have really gone up all.
What has the panny Q got going for it? Looks nice! thats it, I dont even like the way it looks to be honest, looks like cheap japanese hi-fi. The dvd player is awful, run one of the video set up discs like avia, it cant resolve blacks properly so detail is lost, by the time you get the white level right it blooming, again loosing detail in teh bright scenes, and the colours are way off, far too much red in the image.
I say sell it
