Ah yes, I forgot to mention that if you get too much activity up your pipe, it clogs up. Restricting upload a bit (I use netlimiter) helps loads. That first sentence has to be the rudest thing I've ever written on a forum without meaning it.

Im on a Mac and using Tomato Torrent as i couldnt get BitTorrent to work properly.
Now however i have two torrents going at once and both of them keep stalling (i think)and i get the message FILE"./BitTorrent/RawServer.av.line 217.in listen forever.

WTF?

Sounds like a firewall problem. Make sure you have opened whichever ports your client uses, then try it.

Bungle, do you use something like Zone Alarm, or a router. In either, somewhere in the options should be an option to allow certain ports, either outgoing or ingoing. You find out which ports your client uses, open them up, and you should see faster download speeds.

I believe standard BT ports are 6881-6889, or some such. The advanced clients use 6881-6999.
