What’s the scart lead for briareos_kerensky, does the VB do anything other than redscale?

It should do different colour overlays (red and greyscale for sure), but of course it doesn't power on. It might be a broken power adapter, right now I've contacted FingerCramp to troubleshoot.

[edit] They've replied already...they don't include a quickstart guide, and why would you need one, anyway? It's a VB, it's powered on by the switch on the pad! Well, no, the power switch is on the console. I'll let you guess where it is.
Anyway, there are a number of overlay colours: red, blue, purple, inverted purple, and so on. I'll write some more after some use.

It's a consolised VB, you have an AV out for connecting it to the TV/monitor/scaler.

I do not think I was previously aware that consolised VBs were a thing, but every day's a school day!

Particularly pleased that Chained Echoes actually came! Who knows, maybe one day I'll get Crimson Clover after all. Also find it interesting that LRG's Ninja Five-Oh release seems to have come already when the digital version isn't until later on in Feb. Who'd a thunk it, actual benefits to paying over the odds for a disc!

Few new pickups for this month. The last time i played game of life i was 7 years old time to see how much of the rules i remember as it's all in Japanese getting flashbacks of momoden but there is a fun spinner hehe. For those curious how on earth it works i have indulged your curiosity, looks like some form of mouse type sensor that detects the black and white areas on the reverse of the wheel.



Finally got around to getting the Taito laserdisk collection and Yobarai tantei miasma breaker out of the ones that have turned up this ones the one i want to try out first. Looking forward to it as i loved the eshop demo.


Other 2 were the latest guilty gear on switch, not a huge fighting game player but after seeing the collab on dave the diver with this particular game i thought it would be a fun time. The other game is Angelian trigger a weird shooting game that plays like space harrier.

Sigh, not going to be the same in here without Fuse posting his many & amazing pickups but had some of my stuff from for this month arrive, just one parcel still left to ship from Japan but most of it here now. Been a busy month for releases.

As switch is reaching the end of it's life i have been more proactive in grabbing older releases while they are still at normal prices. Been meaning to grab the Xenogears games for a long time but they are kind of pricy for uk versions however the Jpn versions are in english and cheaper too so i finally grabbed them just X to get to complete the set. Also after many maaany years of been burnt out on Yokai watch because i tried to binge too much at once and in doing so burnt out. Decided it's been long enough to jump back in so grabbed them all. While the first 3DS one is remastered and will be fun to revisit, i'm looking forward to digging into the 4th one.



Also my copy of the special edition of urban legend dissolution centre arrived, bought this digitally to support the devs as it's a small team absolutely love it so grabbing the physical was a no brainer. It hits all the right notes of spooky & mysterious. Comes with a CD soundtrack as well as an artbook & a board game.



Few more releases to the collection, i tried the demo of DBZ Kakarot and ended up really enjoying it. Other ones are Othello and a collection of escape room games from the Simple series. I have some of them digitally on my 3DS it's nice that they have remastered them for the switch, bonus points one again for them having english in there.


Not an import but i can't be arsed finding the other thread for domestic stuff so it's going in here, pleased this one is now saved from been digital only. The artbook is lovely. bonus points for it been a CD as i have seen other versions of this deluxe edition that have a slip of paper with a code to get the soundtrack instead of a CD.


The final thing is a biggie for me as i absolutely love Grounded, everything about it is so fun. Usually don't bother with limited run special editions as they usually take a long time to be completed & shipped out but this one is packed with so much stuff from the game that i simply HAD to have it.

Like that the outer box is designed to look like Dr Wendells SPACR device that causes all the problems in the first place.

Pete's AD&D Mant figures as well as his dice set that have raw science embedded inside them a really nice touch, like how one has BURGL on one of the faces.





The box set comes with 2 soundtracks a double CD, and a retro casette tape that is actually a USB drive so you have a digital copy of the OST as well.


Has an exact replica of the photo frame you can craft as well as matching artwork from the game.


Speaking of artwork the last item besides the sheet of stickers is an artbook made to look like a TV guide, there's some really cool concept art in there.

Thanks, it's been a busy month indeed. As for the YW games sadly not. Not even the first game that already has an english translation on 3DS they could have added it back into the jpn release on switch. I'm not even sure if any of the YW games on switch even got a digital release in the west. All of the games do have furigana over the kanji though thanks to level5 been considerate like that so at least i can make my way through (just about)

About 3 hours into YW4++ holy crap the upgrade is insane, i dipped out at the end of 3 so i lost track of the technology of the watches so i'm learning about the new stuff the watches can do but man is it fun to see the town from this perspective it's gorgeous. Story is pretty good too Keita is sent 30 years into the future and you meet your own daughter Natsume funnily enough your grown up self is also here too. Looking forward to exploring every inch of this game but staying away for any real life medal ark key stuff i'm not getting pulled back in
