Just one import today from the states from the Panic store a tiny pizza box case for my playdate. Wish it had been pizza scented to complete the feel. Couldn't resist it when i saw it in the email from Panic.

And another volume of the Cuphead comic has been released, as with all the previous ones the art is equally amazing. Long may they continue.

When i have all my storage shelving built up around my room & it's all ready to transplant my collection back into it i will be having a dedicated section of my room just for all my gaming books and a special section especially for all my japanese nostalgia showa era books these kits i'll be using to make a mini shelf diorama that goes between the books.

Hasegawa the company that makes these do a few other things like gacha machines & crane game kits as well. There are arcade kits available though from other companies i know there was a whole series of kits for making pacman and a whole load of namco machines as well as some for the bemani series of games however a lot of those are now out of print kits and kind of pricy the only one i own like that is the taiko no tatsujin cabinet kit

Recent stuff over here. Already have Requiem but this was some Comic-con exclusive edition that tempted me. Mario Kart is the same "all on the cart" that was shared on the last page, and Eschatos! Finally! Strictly Limited have come to life!

A rare monday off work and all my parcels dropped today, not a huge amount but some pricy box sets in there. Grabbed the special editions of Gundam breakers 4 and Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost as well as the gyakuten kenji double pack also some mini dagashi gacha.

Gundam breakers 4 isn't hugely filled with goodies but it did come with an exclusive gunpla and a steelbook.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost however was packed with goodies, has a really nice artbook pretty extensive 6 disk soundtrack library as well as another novel however what makes this version really special is the cart itself. The regular edition has the base songs on the cart but the 4 DLC song packs you have to buy, This special edition has all 4 packs built into the cart making it perfect as it means zero chance of them been lost when the eshop eventually goes offline. Been a while since i got a new rhythm game so i'm going to enjoy working my way theough this one.

Also the final 2 volumes of history of nintendo also showed up, sadly they have cut costs since the first 2 volumes were published there's no plastic dust jackets and the paper feels really cheap they are no longer glossy inside. However it's nice to finally have them all regardless.

Few new arrivals while off, 2 massive boxes sat in a tower on the doorstep from parcel force. My huge rubber duck off brand gundam plamo arrived plus a few hobby tools along with a couple of books one a perfect catalogue for gamecube as it's nice to have a record of everything released and another book on Showa era nostalgia this time concfentrating on holiday destinations in Japan. Also as the euro physical of Gori cuddly carnage has been put on hold while they decide if they are going to release it i just grabbed the Jpn physical instead as it's in english anyway.

In the other box was this , always wanted a vintage style gacha machine it holds smaller 100 yen sized capsules so i can split my collection between both now.

Animal well finally turned up from LRG, also went digging around through my gacha collection finding all the small 100 yen sized capsules i had, good thing there's plenty of room so i have plenty of storage as i expand. The instruction baggy had a nice instruction sticker which i installed on the inner plastic of the front i love the vintage design of it.

Much better they look nicer when not totally naked and have capsules in, think i'll skip getting a display card for the front of this one though.

I'm a bit torn on whether to get the japanese release of Wizardry or settle for the cheaper upcoming european release. Would you say the extras (art card, trading card, mini guidebook, etc.) are worth paying a premium for?

As far as superdeluxe releases go it's pretty barebones with contents i grabbed jpn version as there was no western physical announced at the time, if you had other stuff to order from amazon japan then sure you could pop it in your cart to go along with it. It's cheap enough with the yen exchange value at the moment however to grab it on it's own it's going to add a big chunk in postage ect, with it been available locally i'd probably go with that unless you really want that art card ect the outer box is nice with it's green dragon metallic foil embossing but you cant really see it in the pic.

The game itself however is fun, its punishingly hard but i expected that as it's unashamedly oldschool, i do love how the apple II version runs onscreen in the corner as you play you can also fullscreen it as an overlay or totally turn it off.

Realised I'd meant to have posted this one a few weeks back but never did -

Particularly relieved to have gotten in on this batch of Gunvein! More recently also got hold of this at last - sadly, not wanting to give money directly to Play-Asia / EastAsiaSoft meant being gouged on the secondary market...

Thanks, you've confirmed my impressions. I have a HUGE soft spot for anything Wizardry related so I think I'll have to get this simply because of how nicely the outer box pays tribute to the Apple II cover.

That's a lovely Taiko no Tatsujin nendoroid, by the way.

Have been coveting the Castlevania boxsets for a long ol' time now, and I caved before they went out of print which is a relief. 26 CDs!

A rare Spanish import for these parts! Very few words, many more pictures. The best kind of book.

The Volume limited edition of the WipEout book isn't actually an import, but came in some snazzy packaging.
