Yep, pretty much. I reckon if I could somehow use a DC controller on the PS2, I could probably get close to the times I managed with the Dreamcast version. In terms of running speed, handling etc, it all seems identical.
BTW, what version is everyone using? (JP version here) I assume you're playing in 60Hz whatever it is.
Agent L, AT is definitely much slower than manual but it's a great way to get used to timing gearchanges with the release-accell method. Make a mental note of the speed each gear maxes out at, and release the accellerator just as it's about to hit that speed.

Yeah, the chicanes are the key to quick times on this track. Not so much your speed through them, but actually your exit speed, since they're followed by a loooong straight.
are the time between versions comparible if people dont use drift techniques?
