Just read all of this thread and WTF? Those score are huge. Me and my housemate have been playing this solidly and only getting in the 70,000's. Hats off to you guys.

I guess I need to work on my combo tonight as that sounds like where the real points are at (tend to get best combo of 20 you see)...nice thread though, be a shame to see it die out!

Keep at it spag, theres a load of tips the lads have added in here. I've got some Driller scores that need adding tonight too!

Got very frustrated last night trying to get Hunks Kneckbreaker working, seems to work on those chainsaw bitches but harder to get it going on the Monks. Still only managing a 20 or so chain too >_< Will keep practicing MUST RESIST ERGE TO PLAY WATERWORLD AS KRAUSER I could do that for days

Best bit in this thread so far was the door discovery in the Castle - we went through the same thing

hello, im new here and was just wondering if you guys had any tips for Leon on Waterworld? tried quite a bit and just cant seem to rack up a high score, im too scared of the drunk chainsaw rocker guy with my didly shotgun

any tips at all will be appreciated

Leon is quite good at water world.
The default handgun is ur best friend....2 shots to normal enemies usually does the job...that means u got lotsa bullets to lay waste to em all hehe.

Problem as u mentioned, lies in killing chainsaw brothers.

There are a few ways...shotgun to the head is extremly effective if timed right. The easiest (yet prolly the most troublesome) way is to throw 2 grenades at him. Make sure the grenade lands in front of him. Then use the shot gun to kill him.

Shotgun is also good for headshots...extremely effective...leon's problem lies in 'killer technique'...no neck snapping..no sniping..no claw....thus..ur shot gun is ur best bet if u wanna go for one shot kill.

I've only recently got round to unlocking Merceneries, and already I'm an addict. So good.

Currently the minigun dudes on Sunset are raping me... The basts seem to be able to shoot me wherever I am on the map, and there's usually no time to dodge. Anyone know the best way of taking care of these ****ers? Wesker's Killer7 is a given obviously.

minigun's are quite easy, just snipe their heads a couple times and they'll naff off... the super double-chainsaw man aka 'old beckley' puts the ****s in you though - running away from someone who jumps up 20 foot ladders kinda does that to you >_<

I'm addicted to this now too, getting nowhere near the scores on here though, my highest is currently around 80000. Hunk + headshot + neckbreaker = coolest thing ever.

My tactic for the chaingun guys is to either snipe if possible or grenade them. You just gotta make sure you hit them first.

Just joined this board now, I've really been enjoying mercenaries. Only bought RE4 about a month ago (I never seem to buy them when they 1st come out). I went through the main game twice, lots of fun. I decided to give mercenaries a try, at 1st I didn't like it but once I got into it it was great. I really like Wesker much better than the others, been playing pretty much just w/ him. So far my bests are Village 106380, Castle 114750 (Adam's walkthrough really helped). Haven't done much with the other 2 areas. Any ideas on the best paths there? Thanks.
