ESP Ra De highscore (MAME week 1)

Ok now this is up and running heres the scoreboard. Obviously some need to get the acutal score instead of an estimate but for the time being i'll put them up. Might be useful for any new scores submitted to have this formula:

Name - Score - Character - Level

1 - Destrukticor - 3,649,220
2 - Mezzanine - 2,477,140
3 - Kubrick - 2,200,000
4 - msm13579 - 1,500,000
5 - LaParka - 1,233,380
6 - Nightstalker100 - 147,390

I think the only rules at the moment should be you can only be on the scoreboard once and that you should only submit additional scores when its better than your last one. Does this sound fair?

I'd play it on my Xbox, surely simple trust will be enough.

I can't imagine there are that many arseholes on this forum (I certainly don't know any that would purposely cheat).

i know, i know. ive just always wondered if thats the case when posting high score thats all.

Not too bothered about evidence. Should be able to take peoples word for it.

Just had a blast at it and got 531260 and then had another go and got 1233380. The scoring in this game is strange. Bloody hard too.

darrghh. only 147390. is there a scoring hook to this. didnt really use the short range weapon at all. this and garegga are the only games actually on my pc right now. strange that someone suggested it!

I read on another forum that you should hit the b-button to get a 'bubble' stuck to the enemy then fire the a-button to kill them. It should say +number when you get them. I think the max is +16 and it shows up in gold. Thats apparantly the way to max the score.

that and stay alive Do the levels always appear random or is it defined by the character you play?

When I used to play I could get to the 3rd stage boss with one credit, not very impressive I know

F12 takes a snapshot in MAME, so there's no excuses for not having proof

had a quick go, 1.5m. good idea for a thread, i will be back with an improved score

edit- haven't a clue about the scoring either.
