Didn't know what stage you were at and if you realised that Arcade Mode levels were only unlocked when you completed them in Adventure Mode; knew you were better than that

right, level 8 boss beaten with one bomb and no lives lost.
video 1; first part; used one bomb and 75% of secondary weapon and he's history (no need to fire until he opens up by the way)

video 2; used 25% of secondary weapon and lightening gun, basically find a corner or side between batches of rays and then move to opposite corner/side whilst he is shooting out the rays, also shows bit where he spins head and fires bullets, repeat what I've done about 10 or 12 times and he'll be history, just takes patience, his pattern is the same every time.

My scores copied straight from the rankings
Rank #30 Score: 4,501,153
Mitsurin Jungle 51. - 509,294
Sunahara Desert 27. 855,975
Sekihi Belt 47. 884,879
Chuuroh City 52. 403,476
Mokuzu Depths 84. 469,105
Hibashira Plains 32. 947,059
Sekai Outpost 64. 214,884
Zenshoh Station 41. 216,481
I know I've definitely got room for improvement. I can see David 6 ahead in the rankings so I might make that a goal

All updated, nice scores Big N, never managed to get past stage one of the level 8 boss with just secondary fire of the lightening gun myself (prehaps not getting close enough), your "only" about 150,000 points behind my overall, good luck, I'm not playing anymore, really happy with all scores except levels 1, 2 & 3 which are "oldish scores" but have not got the hours to put in just for the extra few thousand points. Sure the urge to play again will come back soon though.
Being 24th out of 980 odd people is more than satisfying and probaly best I've ever done on a shmup
