I could understand you thinking something fishy was going on if I was three nil down, but each time there has been all to play for and this last one I was two nil up. Fair enough, you would`ve taken Luigi`s to make it two - one, but who`d disconnect when they had the upper hand??

If it makes you feel any better, I`ve had a fella (who will remain nameless) disco from me a few times tonight, but what can ya do?? You`ve just gotta accept the next challenge.

There are some serious technical issues out there and there are lame buggers, unfortunately it is hard to tell the difference between the two.

We had some good races Myname, but it was a shame we couldn`t string four together. I`d like to play you again and hopefully finish a GP.

I'm gonna have to have a crack at Sky Garden on the time trials, I've not tried that shortcut you used at all - put me at a pretty severe disadvantage.

I've had a bit of lag tonight, but no disconnects at all. Guess I've got the stability. Just sometimes as said, takes forever to find people. I've got 35 people now in my friends list and VonManc is the only person I've found so far!

I had my cordless phone near by and I think that was the cause of the dropouts, I moved it and we got our full GP in.

I`ll have to say though Myname, that race on Luigi`s Mansion was probably the best I`ve had on any circuit. I haven`t played anyone who could match me on there for driving skill rather than pegging me back with a constant stream of items, top drawer!!

You have to do the cheeky shortcut on Sky Garden of you`re gonna get a wicked time. After loads of praccy it is second nature now. It isn`t hard to get over the ramp, but it is fairly tricky to do it with the perfect landing. Unfortunately the ramp trick can`t be done in a race

Oh yeah I nearly forgot. Can you tell us how the cloud shortcut exploit works where you drive off it and lakatu puts you back further down the course?? I`ve seen loads of people do this but I can`t get it to work. Does it also work on time trials??

There is a similar one I`ve seen on Mario Circuit where if you jump off the cliff and into the water, lakatu puts you back on near the pirana plants.

Whereabouts on the course do you mean? I certainly wasn't doing anything on purpose - can't remember falling off the track either..

Maybe it is just how it is viewed form my perspective then, a grafical glitch or sumat. I`ve seen it before and it looks like you jump on the cloud and then just drive off it. The next thing lakatu is putting you back on further up the track, have you never seen it??

Like I said before, I`ve deffo seen one on mario circuit but I think I saw one on Yoshi`s cube circuit just now, near where the shroom shortcut is. It was like he`d turbo`d over the gap but landed in the water, lakatu put him back on and he sped off. It also seems that when this occurs, lakatu puts you down very quickly.

Can anyone shed some light on this phenomena??

hey good games before but No you definatley did that when playing me, you fell off the cloud only to come back up in a instant and drive off a glitch shortcut I'd say, I've seen others doing it too.

PS - I was playing one game against you on baby park and I beat you just before the line and I came 1st and it clearly stated it but you got 10 points I got 5 what was with that?
