I saw the male humans had lvl 3 luck yesterday and was going to message you but couldn't see you online.

To be honest I think dogsout stole everyone's luck and has run off with it

I've still seen nowhere near as many goodies as he has

Something's up with my live account. It's not displaying as being online.

The only time I've set it to appear offline is when I was playing FFXI a few months ago.

There I was thinking you had it set to "Appear offline" constantly because you couldn't stand the thought of having to talk to us

You speak to MS about that mate, get them to sort it out.

You mean those spells aren't in the game yet? Jeez, I knew they were locking some stuff away to keep things fresh but that's taking the piss.

Welcome to the world of Phantasy Taking It Up the Arse, the game where Sega shafts you and you pay for the priviledge.

              LOlZ!

I genuinely feel shafted over losing my guns last night. I'm ****ing stranded good and proper now.

+9 grinders for sale, 6k each.

                Playing EU PC version

Beast Hunter lv 14 called Marvelon Blue (loving the really long names, made a ranger in memory of my GC character called Return of Lunchbox, haha)

It's making a nice diversion from WoW

If anyone has space for a newbie, I'd appreciate some 'hand-holding'! My gamertag's spleeenboy (3 e's).
I'm new myself, I played the demo and been playing the single player since US release (it's good practise if nothing else for how the game works) but that's all. I tend to join games that are already going on, with people around my level. I joined a game with 2 players in their lvl 20s and it was no fun at all watching them just flick everything away before I got to it I'm level 10 at the mo I think, not been playing as much as I intended.

You should try to play with people around the same level as yourself for the best experience. Just hop around some parties until you find a nice one. I found a good way to filter is to chose the parties that have item distribution set to 'in order' or 'random' rather than give finder. Not only is this a much better way to play (prevents people rushing to items all the time, afraid they might miss out while other teammembers are being killed) but it's usually the more 'normal' people who play this way.

You could be right there mate, I've been incredibly lucky with some of my drops. Picked up my first De Ragan tail yesterday. I accidentally created a character over Cuchulain so he is no more!

Started again as a force and luckily I had transferred all of my 300K meseta and expensive items over to my second character before the first one got deleted. I managed to sell the 3 Relic Edges I'd found for around 40K and I've stuck four Rappy Feathers up for sale that I was holding on to in order to make the Rappy costume,if they ever release the update.

The biggest loss was the lvl 100 PM but I'm on my way to rectifying that with a new PM focusing in ranged (for the oh so sexy bows). Got that up to lvl 30 last night. Not doing too badly considering I only started again when the PAL lot started playing and Gears has totally had me by the balls since release. Hit lvl 18 last night with my new Force Newman, aptly named dogsout. And I've bought myself a couple of Hajirods with nice grinds on the cheap as well as a few bows.

Seriously loving this again, now that I've gone Force.

I can relate with Fallows regarding the explosion of beloved weapons. I lost count of the amount of Caliburs and Halberts I blew up when grinding. The worst ones were the two 50% ones I destroyed.

                        Ouch

I think of all the things I could lose, a lvl 100 PM would piss me off the most. Mine is still only lvl 18 on my first character, haven't even started on it for my second.

Thanks guys, took your advice and joined a party with someone else on Level 1 and played for the last couple of hours or so. Great fun - will hopefully catch you up soon(ish!) and join you online.

Silly question, but where can you find the shops that are run by other players? I only know the real shops.

The computer or vision phone or whatever it's called in your room mate. You can search by item, character name etc.

Yeah Stainboy just told me, can't believe I never noticed that before.

Just remembered why I never use the headset, I always feel like an idiot when speaking english. Thanks a lot Stainboy .
