its not about me having first pick, its about playing a tournament with your mates, Me and nembot are only on the same team cause we constantly play games together everyday, not just gears but other games as well.

Seriously, after the GoW league fell apart due to all the bitching going on, despite Jebus' best efforts at keeping it all under control, the very last thing you need heading into any tournament is controversy regarding the team selection - either get someone impartial to the tournament picking teams at random or this tournament won't last 2 rounds.

If you want the site to organise a tournament for you then just ask.

That was all put to bed and this is hopfully going to be a more positive experience.

I was sad to see the end of the league eventhough I was maybe a catalyst for it finishing, but there is still enough people that enjoy the game and we owe it to Gears and the people that still enjoy it to give it another go.

If we go down the route of random teams that`s ok with me if we manage to get the knockout off the ground, although I don`t think impartiality of the team selection is required to avoid a flawed tournament, that`d be like Jose Mourinho picking the United line up for the FA cup final.

Either way I`m looking forward to it and I hope it`s a success which is what Gears and NTSC-UK deserve.
