and I will give it one more go with Charles, if we can get 6 or 7 racers from the forum we can better leave the Forza2 forum alone (you never know what kind of person is truning up)....

when by the end of this week no more will join I will post a message on the Forza2 forums to get a full grid.

ps. this evening I won't be home again (going to the new Batman movie...)

Some superb racing tonight Force, was really good to get back in the groove with Forza after a while away. Anyway, apparently Clyde is happy to race on Friday for the GP epic, so below is the final grid.

This is probably going to be about 1h30m long, so plenty of scope for different pit strategy's, as I can tell you that BMW is going to be evil on dark yellow tyres!

Still 2 places up for grabs if anyone fancies it, but otherwise 6 is a great number. Roll on Friday

Well in the end only 3 runners at the end of the race. Bit disappointing, but heh-ho.

Went quicker than expected actually, only thing was my hand was f***ed with cramp for the last 5 laps. That BMW required so much concentration to keep on the track, in the end only one mistake was quite good for an hour and a half.

Loved the little bits through the race where the silence would be punctuated by Roy shouting 'Fu*k'

yeah, too bad it wasn't a full grid, but it was still an interesting race, it's was between me and Kubrick who was gonna make that last fatal mistake to take 2nd place, and we took it to the end to decide this..... unfortunally (for me and Kubrick) Mike had built up an impressive lead and took the victory.

I was thinking of running another race a week this Friday at 8pm, 29th August. Either Silverstone or Suzuka, 50 laps again. This will give us all plenty of time to practice the cars.

A little bit more tweaking of the cars is in order, so that things are even fairer. I'm thinking the Opel for me and Force (well, maybe not that slow a car). Ultimate aim is to have everyone more or less on the same pace.


P.S. Hope you didn't get frightened off RedOilCan, I noticed you left quite early mate.

Cars: Same as before (Kubrick and Clyde in the Viper, everyone else in the Toyota Supra), except this time myself and Force will be going in even slower cars

Yeah mate, it was superb. I have to say that the Corvette is special, a real challenge: although I was off the pace for a long time, a little practice and I'll close the gap.

I'm also having second thoughts on the New York track, some really close racing there!
