Was on this earlier tryin to add people to maybe you know get a match finished without the host quittin. Problem is I have no idea how to add friends. Can only see that you can add friends from previous players. Tried that search function thing too and nobody showed up on it.

Yeah I'm unsure how that works to at the moment. Seems a bit crud in that department.

I've now hit level 3, but still need another 14 hours playtime to be able to start a clan.

Cool, I'll be getting my PS3 connection to my router done soon. As I had problems with my old machine, so I got a replacement and haven't connected it online yet.

Why do you need to play for 20 hours to start a clan, what are the benefits of doing so?

Not sure. Maybe they don't want their servers rammed with wasted clans. I think you get to make you own emblem and stuff. Don't worry lads, I will do it!

Yeah that's what I think as well - to save their servers.

I'm only lvl 3 / 4 hours, so I'll await Hoolak's 20 hour marathon.

Trying to find friends is tough. You can filter for them, but you have to play them first to mark them as friends I think. Not the best setup in the world.

An understatement to say the least. Maybe if your a clan leader you can invite anyone and not just people you play?

I'm guessing when you're in a clan, you can filter to clan mates? There seems to be no invitation system, but maybe a clan only lobby?

Can't believe how poor it all is really, and they even had a beta! Is a Live style sytem really that hard to imitate?

You need you PSN friends to be logged into MGO at the same time as yourself and then search their MGO name.

Whoever is in charge of online gaming designamebobs at Konami needs a hug followed by some very swift CQC.

In true crud style the friend list/search is for the character names rather than PSN/Konami game ID.

It's shocking. Even with that information you've given me, I think MGO requires you to actually be logged into it for me to search you.
