Good news everyone, it was 23.77!

I still can't get around that corner though. It feels like you should be able to get most of the way around and then double tap R2 to shift right and just about avoid it, but I can't pull it off. I'm just hoping that the wall bounces me onto the double speed pad at the moment as that doesn't kill much of your speed then.

Didnt try doing the double tap shift as I didn't think it would work there to be honest but I'll give it a shot and see. Just waiting to see who's first to get into the 22's.

The more I play this, the more I'm convinced that 22s is out of my reach. It felt achievable when I got 23.77 but I've barely improved on that since then over sixty or so laps. There's about 100 different places you can mess up this lap before you even get to the hairpin, and I've not managed to string a single perfect lap together. I've not even been close. 22s would be impressive though, that's top 100 (out of 8,000) pretty much on the global leaderboard.

I'm within half a second of that, and I can't tell if it's attainable or not. One more go later, one more go.

Been back for about 2 hours now - had been home 20 minutes when I had the estate agents phone up asking if someone could come view my flat. I gave myself half an hour to clean up a bit and they've been and gone now but have yet to have a chance to try and set a better time.

The reason I let people view the flat (I didn't have to as they are supposed to give 24 hrs notice!!) is because I have a 42" package of awesomeness arriving on Friday for the purposes of setting better times! Please give me a zone (or zone battle actually, I might actually do ok then...) to test it with over the weekend!

I don't know if I'll manage another go on this. Gonna be crazy busy the next three weeks pretty much working any hour I'm awake. If it gets out of control I'll pass the sheriffs badge onto someone else for the time being.

Challenge 11: Zone Battle, Syncopia (just picked a random one from the tracklist on wiki!), highest score wins

I had a go at a Zone battle the other day, and didn't have the slightest idea what I was supposed to do. The game does a shocking job of explaining new game modes

Okay, stopping on 23.10. Hands hurt.

I do like speed laps though, it's nice knowing that when you mess up it's only 20 seconds 'til you can try again, unlike zones which take over six minutes each
