Rallisport 2 - Meet Up Thread

So, who's going to try and get this a day early tomorrow?

    *raises hand*

If not i'll just pick it up friday.

My friend in the US says it's damn amazing. But at the minute he's been playing 1 player to unlock the cars. Here's a quick bit he wrote in a convo...

Anyway, sounds awsome. 80 tracks though. Mamamia.

SniperMonkey UK - I'll probably be on this all the time, so bye bye Splinter Cell.

I have a feeling this game will take-control of my life. RalliSport1 is still my favourite Xbox Racer and this sequel looks 100times better in every way.

          Live gaming just keeps delivering.

Its not out yet dude. I am sure it is either the 14th or 21st though.

BUT count me in for it when its out. Having a list might be a good idea for whos getting it.

Yeah RSC2 looks interesting, but equally as if not more interesting will be Richard "Burnsie"s Rally! :
Every aspect of modern rallying has been precisely modelled to allow the player to experience life as a top-class rally driver. Richard Burns Rally surpasses its rivals in every area -graphical quality, technical accuracy, car physics, gameplay and unique features. Marking a significant move forward for the rally genre, Richard Burns Rally pushes the limits of technological capability whilst revising gameplay conventions. Richard Burns Rally is a game that will both challenge and astound any fan of motorsport video games.

But, that's only got 8 cars and 36 tracks, this has 50 cars and 80 tracks.

                          50 cars? 80 tracks? Bah!

I've been playing Saturn Sega Rally since I got it in 1996, but I sold my Saturn to get a DC back in 2000 and only recently got one again.
Not only that, but I've only been playing time trial, and only on Desert, and only with the Celica (automatic initially, then switched to manual after a few years). I did arcade a few times but didn't really bother too much
So that's one car and one track, and I still love it even now
Heck, Ridge Racer was cussed on PS for only having one track...

However, Rallisport was intro'd to me by one of my fellow CeX employees and the arcade handling made me feel right at home. Sliding is great fun and although I almost always go tumbling off cliffs etc, it's great fun to watch!

Can't wait for Rallisport 2 - I was gonna buy it US and set my XBox to region 1 to play it on Live but I'll hold out coz of the exams...by then you lot will have smacked it up and my XBL trial will have run out, so in theory I'll be buying it to get my ass kicked. Better go trial-hunting again!

Are you sure it's not out anywhere? It's available in "preferred partners" in Ireland now, places like Smyths Toys (the equivalent of Tots'r'us in the UK I think)
