currently playing through the single player and it's very very good

so different to PGR2

not quite so sure about live yet but still a fantastic game.

the graphics are gorgeous (especially in prog scan)
Shifts at a fair rate as well
Lovely little spot effects here and there
right back to it....

I'm soooo tempted to get this (the US version) but my XBox is playing up with bad disc errors all the time now (which is why I've been off Live ).

I might still get it though....

I'm whizzing through the single player, but I won't be on the multiplayer until my XBox is fixed as I'll keep on dropping out of races. Hopefully I'll be sorted by the end of the week.

I got this Fri and have spent about 3 hours on single player unlocking cars, any feedback so far as to which car is the best in each class (I guess the best cars are unlocked via Champion) Amatuer and Pro don't have anywhere near as many unlocks and lots of them seem to be tracks rather than cars.

Apparently the patch will be out in a fortnight to sort out all the glitches which is good so DON'T bother spending any time on the Time Trials as all leaderboards will be wiped clean.

Amazon aren't the quickest unfortuantely, you should try play/ gameplay/ www.freeola.com, they usually ship games on a Weds and 75% of the time they arrive Thurs, otherwise its Friday, their prices have done in the last few months also

I have no idea which are the best cars, but judging from the stats, fairly predictably the last cars in each class to be unlocked look the best. I've unlocked about half of the cars, and get left for dead at the start of races against the best cars. The later stages of Champion gets you the really good cars.
