i won't retract the I'm sorry, as i said i've not seen these charitable events which is why there is a misunderstanding as i pointed out, for that im wrong for calling you selfish.

Wonderful, the game is pulling one of it's incredibly stupid broken quest manoeuvres again, practically forcing me to go and look it up somewhere... I really don't want to spoil this one though.

The situation is I've followed this quest down a whole load of cutscenes that led me to a ???... I visited this months ago (last summer) and it spawned an NM which defeated me. I went back a few weeks later fully prepared and spawned it again, put up a better fight but had to warp as I wasn't going to win. So now I've gone back again, being that I'm much higher in level.. only the stupid NM won't spawn. I just get a message that I am unable to investigate the spot ><

I've spoken to the NPCs that led me to this point again, but it's not made any difference.

A question for any of you guys who have the US version of FFXI (I myself do). I noticed vgp have the expansion for ?20, are they a reliable site? The reason I need the US copy is that european reg codes won't work for the US version and vice versa.

It's "A timely visit", and the ??? is at the Jugner Forest exit of King Ranperre's Tomb. It spawns a shadow type and a skeleton. I'm almost certain something is glitched because I have spawned this multiple times already without doing anything different.

Hmm i have had that quest in my log for a long time but never actually done it. I think the skeletons only spawn between 18.00-4.00 game time. After you kill them you click on the ??? mark again. Then you go back to San Doria, then to ordelles, then back to san again. The reward is not great sadly.

Thanks for that Tobal, I REALLY appreciate it. When someone knows they're in the wrong, they shouldn't need to be asked for an apology but for some reason I never got one until I confronted you - were you ever going to apologise or did you feel I didn't deserve one?
