Well last night reached NIN 37 and popped my Utsusemi: Ni scroll so just 3 more levels to go and then NIN can rest for a while. Tobal let us know when you're ready to go again and we can finish the levelling off ^^

So now I'm set to press on with PLD I think, tongiht though I shall be building furniture etc in the back bedroom and moving stuff to fit in a nice big desk, new bookshlves and very soon a nice new Futon.

May see you after all that but doubt it, most likely Wednesday when maybe we could look a prepliminary farming for 4-3, maybe even complete it if it goes well.

As for a Rargh Forum that would be useful we've got so many people at different stages now that one thread only really serves us old school Rarghers.

One thread was good enough when I was a newbie and there was a different bunch of old school players... put it this way if Jeimuzu or someone puts a message up here saying he needs help with 2-3 or something, we're all going to read it. We might not do so if it's in a low level section.

To be honest I think its best to keep the forum as is and just maybe have a page on the Rargh site for those interested in joining, so when questions do get asked we can point them to it.

If keeping track of events is the issue then maybe an events schedule as a forum could be ok.

Thing is though, alot of people have joined because this forum is part of ntsc and has a large reader base, we wont get that on a separate forum.

I'm going to carry on leveling BLM tonight if possible, need about 8k to hit Lv38 then i'm done. I'll resume as WHM ( lv38 ) when you guys get back to leveling NIN. I think a forum would be a good thing but of course, it would only be good if everyone uses it as intended. So, will see what others think then make a decision!

I?m with Darwock on this. I post here because it is NTSC-uk. Many of the early Rargh members (Tobal, Wedge and myself most noticeably but also Mihki and Mahlory) came together on Seraph as we all were members of this forum (back in the day the linkshell was originally called NTSC-uk ).

I have the forum open at work to pay attention to all the threads and whilst I would check any specific Rargh forum, it wouldn?t be my major port of call.

If that means we have to keep reiterating that we play on Seraph every so often so be it. This thread is massive and it would be unreasonable to expect a newcomer to trawl through 700+ pages in the hope of finding a specific piece of information.

Perhaps it is unfortunate that the thread was started by Sdub (Mahlory) who no longer plays, as that first post could be edited on a regular basis with useful information for any newcomers such as the server we play on, who are pearlsack holders, in game names ? forum names etc (for those of us who go by different handles) and up to date world passes.

Also, I don?t think it is the responsibility of the admins at NTSC-uk to provide a specific sub-forum for one game. This isn?t a FFXI dedicated forum.

A suggestion is that maybe we could start a new thread (started by a regular player) where information like mentioned above is constantly updated and the thread title includes a comment for newcomers to check the first post for initial details. If we did this I think we would have to request that this thread be locked by the admin to prevent any confusion of 2 threads ongoing.

I'll look at the main Rargh site again and see what we can do , I know some people have sent updates if the rest would be so kind that would be good. I'll look at getting someting up so we can easily see who is on what missions etc...

I do like the fact we get new players via this thread so for that alone it does have value.

Could use a list of who the current sackholders are and all that lark, as for the details of server etc they are up there on the who are we page www.RarghLS.net

Being able to edit the first post is a very good idea, after reading some of the posts i do think now also that a new forum would be abit overkill, as there is not that many things really that need to be posted.

World passes.
Events.
Pearl sack holders.
Basics.

I think thats pretty much it, anything else really can be grabbed of people online in the LS.

Make a new thread with info about how to get started on Seraph, explaining world passes, who to contact for a pearl when in game etc.

A link to an information page on the website maybe would sort this.

Also a link to this thread for an idea of what goes on.

As for who starts the new thread im thinking Tsingtao as you can pick and choose what to put on tne website and what on here.

Also we need Bayan to dish out more pearlsack holders, quite alot of regulars don't have one.

Anyways, speaking of Events. As im nearing 60 now i was woundering if anyone fancied some BCNM60 or 40 action.

I do have some certain ones i would like to do which are

Under Observation - Horlais Peak 3 Member Lvl40 for Peacock Charm or

Grimshell Shocktroopers - Waughroon Shrine (Level 60, 30 minutes, 6 members)
Kindred Spirits - Throne Room (Level 60, 30 minutes, 6 members)

for Vassago's Scythe.

Never done a BCNM with you guys before so if we just do it 3 orbs and sell all or 6 orbs and sell or your orb your claim etc, any way im not fussed. Or a different BCNM for other items for good Gil.

As im saving for a Hauby, Peacock Charm in my dreams and Vassago's Scythe.

But as before im up for any gil making activities as i know Wedge is as well atm.

Some Assault 60 could be cool this weekend as well.
