    Tobal, I can't afford to do a BCNM60 yet (about 77 seals, of which I need some for mannequin) but if you're desperate for a tank I will come and help out like last time.

    Obviously, if you have a tank who is bringing their orb this won't be necessary but the offer is there if you want it.

      Rob like the guys say we play on multiple platforms but we are all on Seraph, if you decide to play let us know and we can get you a pass for the server.

      Keyboards like the guys say work with the 360 and it is a must. For any platform its best to get the media and the keys all in one shot. Any other route is messy...

      The install is a mamoth, ready yourself to be around 4 hours from sticking the install disk in to being online but it is worth it. Coming up to 2 years play here and I still love the game.

        Tobal says he can't make wednesday, so if everyone turns up it might just have to be tonight, screw 24 I guess ; ;

          Well during last nights CoP business I inadvertently picked up another quest - waking the beast.. got the rainbow resonator key item.

          It triggers a fight in full moon fountain, uncapped and up to 18 people can go in, I believe it's a fight against Carbuncle Prime but not sure on this - I originally thought it was just an 'ultimate' version of the regular avatar fights, but it would make sense for it to be Carby.

          It's got to be done - I thought I'd reached the pinnacle of black mage scythes when I bought the Ivory Sickle, but I've just discovered there is a Garuda's Scythe that is obtained from this fight. Not to mention Carbuncle's Cuffs... not that I'll be smn 75 any time soon but still...

          edit - oh wow and carbuncle's pole! latent effect big additional damage with carbuncle summoned, that would rock.. oh my god I have to do this too many times ><

            Late start and late finish for impromptu CoP 5.3, Tenzen?s path. A lot of cutscenes and long, long dungeon crawl through Pxo?ja ending up fighting about 13/16 Doll?s along with normal mobs.

            As for avatar fight, the to be able to enter you have to have beaten all normal avatars(excluding Fenrir and Diabolise), then you get to fight the Powered up Avatars, then a Avatar battle royal. I want to do this but I need to beat Ifrit and Titan first.

              I need Ifrit.

                Well another resounding success last night as all the fights for CoP 5-3 Tenzen Path. Folks just need to do the final cut in the 60 cap tower to complete this leg.

                Next on the agenda will be Ulmia Path, this requires a good few cutscenes before we get to the firtst BC. Can folks get these done in their spare game time so we're all ready to go say Monday next week. In addition to this we will need some cluster cores (hope we've got some from the atomic cluster farming or we can go get more), personally I have 1 to turn into Shy-Meyu salt.

                Shu-Meyu Salt QUEST:

                In Ulegerand Range, after going down the first slope, head to the northwest corner of the field where you find a cave. At the first left branch, there is a NPC orc named Buffalostalker Dodzbraz.
                Bring him 4 Cluster Cores to receive the salt. Cluster Cores are dropped from Atomic Clusters or Odqan. They spawn at Riverne Sites, Misareaux Coast or Lufaise Meadows.

                The other item is a bit odder and used for the mithra BC we will face. Here's the skinny on it...

                Muddy Siredon Grill QUEST:

                Go to Carpenter's Landing via the Jugner Entrance near the Outpost and head to the pier (J-10) to talk to Anguenet. Choose the third route option and he will tip you off about the fabled Muddy Siredon that can be fished up along this swamp route.
                Go ride the barge along the mentioned route and try to fish up a Muddy Siredon (Rare/Ex).
                Trade the muddy siredon and 100gil to the tonberry standing behind Anguenet to receive the grill. The grill's effect is to prevent the Tracker Mithras from having their TP regening in a chapter 5 BC fight.

                Ramuh for me.

                  I believe you actually have to be able to summon them, not just have beaten them, so if people haven't selected the pacts as their rewards they'll need to do them again. I've never chosen the pacts due to having beaten the solo fights so I presume that also counts.

                    Oh, that?s disappointing. I?ve been saving my whispers for a Moon Bauble so don?t have any pacts but was hoping to get my pacts via the lvl20 fights instead (so I can have both quests completed) when ever the time came to level SMN.

                    Looks like I can?t do the 18-man fight for a while

                      well.. neither can I at 66, but I plan on putting on a level spurt as soon as I can because there's some things I really don't want to miss out on.

                      By the way Rare you can do the solo ones for kicks should you be mad enough, so you could still clear both quests whether you had obtained pacts or not.

                          Aaahhh typical, I've already been deflated by the 'waking the beast' thing. The carbuncle's pole is given to everyone for finishing it, but all the other items are random drops (and you certainly won't get one for every person who participated). Probably more chance of winning the lottery. I got all excited too when I saw the carbuncle cuffs were for all jobs. ; ;

                              You'll need a worldpass if you want to play with us.

                              We need just a couple more low level members IMO.

                              -------------------------

                              10WHM - 10BLM

                              Sold my Grain Seeds for 55,000gil! >< Gonna farm another stack tonight. That's 130,000g in the kitty now after splashing out on some more BLM spells and fire crystals for my copper ingot production line.

                              I may need to start yet another job as I don't want to rush ahead of my friends (compensating lvl'ing time by making money takes forever with only 7 sales slots)... although I won't have ANY space for that. Would you guys object to me recreating my 'Fallows' character and having him in the linkshell also? Everytime I start FFXI the initial default character on the select screen comes up as the old Paladin and it winds me up ><.

                              EDIT: S.Gusta theme sorted thx. ><
