I dunno about good... tragic more like. I was xping in bibiki bay, when I hear what sounds like someone banging on my window. I live on the 6th floor so this confused me, it's a couple of big sliding windows that open out onto the balcony but I have my blinds drawn. I figured it was probably irate neghbours wanting to complain about something - I took a look round at the devastation I live in (worse than usual cos I'm in total upheaval trying to sort stuff out for selling etc.) and decide I'll just pretend I'm out rather than face any potential embarrasment. It continues, I'm distracted and miss a magic burst so I tell my party there's some nutter banging on my window.. try to focus on the game but then I hear this clanging and battering and next thing there's this silhouette on my balcony like something out of a motley crue video. Panic, there's a good chance she's seen me through the blinds so hiding behind the couch is no longer an option. I carefully opened the window and stepped out without opening the blinds, and it turned out she'd locked herself out on her own balcony. Her front door was locked and her mobile was inside (plus she couldn't remember any numbers) and her flat mate wasn't due home for an hour. I went to ridiculous lengths to avoid letting her see my place, I tried to bust her window open.. I took my phone (landline!) out on to the balcony to call the building factors, but they were closed.. I came very very close to saying 'oh well you'll just have to wait out here for your flatmate, least it's not raining'. But in the end I had to just let her in, I pretty much herded her down the hall and out the front door, then left her standing by the lifts while I went back to get pen and paper so she could write a note to her flatmate. Absolutely shameful performance. I used to be such a charmer lol.

So there you have it in black & white, this is why I need to leave the country!

(on the plus side my party hadn't kicked me and I got 3K experience without actually being present to do anything)

Out of curiosity is this a shared balcony or did she make some James Bond-esque leap from hers to yours to get your attention?

She didn't make any death defying leaps, but she did have to climb over a bit in the middle... I did the same to try and open her window and felt a bit nervous about it to be honest, it can be pretty windy 6 floors up!

Anyway... getting back to the original point - are we gonna try CoP tonight? Mosley still needs to get the cutscenes done obviously.

I've got to get to that solo ENM after work tonight (missed it yesterday due to besieged/invite) but after that I'm free if we're farming cluster cores or whatever.

Tonight is CoP we are going to go and do the Mithra BC and if possible before hand go and farm cluster cores.

If possible we could co0mplete the whole path this evening depends, we may need 2 hours to beat the snoll which means a split approach if we do.

I rather not chance it, i would want to be able to all 2hrs in both fight's, we can finish up the 2nd BC thursday night. As for Salt we only need 3 at most, anymore than that and its game over anyway.

Which also means i can get an exp scroll from the 50cap area

Another win on the mineshaft ENM, but it was close this time. 2nd dice roll boosted puppet to 217% TP, and it used skullbreaker - not familiar with that WS but it lowered my INT, which wouldnt have mattered much except the puppet then cast Aeroga II, and took me from a decent amount of HP right down to 100. If it had interrupted my last cast I think I would have lost, but it didn't - got the spirit lantern this time too ^^

Well that was a load of f*&king ****e. I teleported to Ru'lude, bought my meds and zoned out to get a chocobo to attohwa chasm, and then my internet broke.

I knew it wasn't a normal d/c cos when I switched off to reboot I wasn't getting any TV channels either, and as I had lost any trace of a net connection I couldn't even post on here to explain. Straight on the phone to the piece of **** NTL support line, some dude in India going through the checklist of questions completely oblivious to what I was telling him... despite the fact my TV was also out he determined it was a faulty cable modem and arranged for an engineer to visit on Saturday. I kept trying until 10:45 pm and then gave up.

Just came to check before I go to bed and found the TV is back, hence posting on here. Sorry.

I tell you it's a conspiracy, every time a NM pop is due or I'm on a mission, I'll get some form of network failure. The timing couldn't have been any worse with most of the team already on the way to the battlefield

Had my first attempt at this also last night. Was a bit bored, then after Darwock said he just won his, decided to give it a try so get decked out in my lvl60 gear and heading over to Movalpolos. Decided to try it without meds.

End result was a win with about 350HP left and I got my own share of benefits from the rolls.

The automaton seemed to forget his Shihei and only seemed to use Dokumori: Ni (Poison). I was able to fully debuff it (Paralyze was really potent) although there were a few instances where I was without shadows due to it using Shurikens (which never miss shadows (unless thrown by a fomor).

I think had my TP boosted 3 times and I luckily blinked away his Blade: Retsu which if it hit would have paralyzed me potentially costing me the victory.

Only annoyance was almost being at the win and mannequin getting a 350HP boost from the roll. Luckily I get TP next roll and finished it with Blade: Jin.

Definitely an interesting battle and I?ll give it a few more attempts. The earring I can get (and didn?t get last night) would be nice for boss battles.

D(M) Day today. Not quite as nervous as O.Hat as a loss won?t lose me a trigger but I really hope I can get myself a Suppanomimi. I go for level 75 after that and get to work on meriting

Well im now 1/6 on MEA! W00t! As most of the LS know as i couldnt stop blabbin about it last night! It all started with a party yesterday afternoon, we went and farmed anima and then got up to the boss we had x2 smn in the grp, 3 wars and a whm. It all went well until he one shotted one of the smn. 0/5! I was so angry as if he hadnt had one shotted the the smn we would have won. It looked like he has about 1-2% left at the most.

At this point i was fumeing as this had happened the last 3 times. It just seems that he was invincible when he got that low on life. Went back to jeuno and a saw sombody who I had had a good run but fail with last night. (Letty) She asked if i was doing another run. I thought what the hell! So we got together another grp.

War/Thf (me), War/Nin, Smn/Whm x2, Whm/Brd and a Blm/whm.

I would have liked another melee to help tank instead of the blm but as the whm and the smn were cool and i got along well with them we went with it. We all had 2 different types of anima as well.

We got to the top no problems at all. Got in the BC and buffed up. It couldnt have gone better. Me and the other war voked if to keep hate. Then at 70% our smn's 2 hour'd and got off 3 Astral Flows Each. During that time me and the other war both 2 Hour'd at 50%. Got him down to about 5% and he got a AoE off and killed our whm who quickley reraised and hipotted and got to the side. Our smn used a anima and we kicked his ass down to nothing. W00t!

Killing a boss had never felt so good. All but 1 of these people are up to the same point as me so we are gonna static the other 2 as well and maybe more.

So after the match tonite, looks like holla or dem are up for a beating! (Well i hope!)

Yes, you get it by gambling with the moblin at the 2nd entrance to Movalpolos in N. Gustaberg. (10K bet maximum, for which he has to roll less than 50 on his dice). It can be expensive to get in depending on your luck.
