Take a look at the latest update notes Dj, DRK have seen a change in this update, sadly its not one you'll probably appreciate as its an absorb-tp nerf.

Now you can only drain the mob so long as it actually has tp, and the amount you drain is now a percentage dependant on how much the mob has. Looks like no more instant 80 tp lol.

Also, would you confirm the start time for pt1 of three paths for me? Don't remember what time we're meeting at pso'xja

As far as moot BLm magic stuff is going, i said i would be there for 7pm andi will be there for 2 hours fighting, before teleporting back to safehold for CoP8-4.

Rememner i can't post here from work anymore some im unable to talk about stuff until i get some and then it just easier to log on ffxi.

as far as the maps go we have to see what the other are willing to do when we meetup, i think if we play it carefully you, tali and i could take thos pot things at the 3rd floor door.

Last night then... We had a delayed start on Promathia 8-4 due to some of the guys helping to fight Ix'aern in The Garden of Ru'Hmet. After doing a little random healing I got invited to the Alliance to help Refresh/Cure which was kind of cool as i'd never tackled a mob of this nature before. With time getting on and the mob having a seemingly endless reraise cycle we finally moved onto Promathia without killing Ix'aern.

The first attempt was a disaster which basically left me dead after a failed reraise for 15 minutes while the others tried to get the situation under control. Fortunately (for me) we wiped and decided to try again. Second time things went much smoother and although there were a few moments, we were victorious in a tough but enjoyable fight! We were treated to a simply stunning CS and now just a bunch of other CS's to do before CoP is complete.

Doing CoP has been amazing, I can't believe its been 18 months since we started. Its been an absolute pleasure doing these missions with such a quality group of people - Tob, Tsing, Darwock and Wedge plus a few others at different times (Hic, Mos, True, Elite etc). Really sorry that both D and Wedge couldn't continue with us to last nights conclusion. I am more than willing to assist Wedge (and D if he returns) get to the end anytime.

        Thanks guys /salute

Where to go from here then. Obviously Lv75, but with Bastok Rank 10 and CoP now complete and not much chance of continuing with Zilart (LS folks seem to be doing with HNMLS's) I need to think about my goals... I do need to get back on top of ToAU missions, hopefully these will mature into something special also!

Tal mate, I?m am really keen to finish Zilart. Although I have beaten Divine Might I want to take part in battling the AA individually as my role in Divine Might (which is a separate quest, but also classes you as finishing the mission) was limited to dieing a few times. The ability to actually battle them one at a time, and face up to them properly is something I?d love to do so if you want to try that let me know.

Obviously there is no earring reward for battling them individually but doing it as a mission does not close off the option of doing DM at a later date.

I think Moot will help and maybe Kuponut too. Daragon and Wedge have both expressed interest and if you came as RDM Wedge could come as BST which I think he?d prefer to do.

Oh and congrats on the CoP.

After reading Wedge's comments/observations about his HNMLS I have pretty much come to the conclusion that I don't want to / can't be a part of that kind of setup so every thing I will do will be with Rargh (which is just fine with me!).

My goals are to progress and finish the story(s), heck I have no idea what the reward is for DM (or if its any use for me) so more than happy to progress with LS folks. I am going to push to Lv75 in the next few weeks but other than that I am good for any LS activities.

Does anyone fancy a BCNM40 or possibly a BCNM50 next week?

                  OMG!

Can someone try buying me a Morion Earring from Jeuno AH!? They've gone down to 40k!

I can send the money as soon as I get in. This can't wait!

I'm gonna farm the other 40/50k for another one tonight in record time. Looks like Fallows will be hitting Gustaberg for an hour or so.

Get! For 40k too! Patience is the key...

I made a further 50+k from tele's last night in just over an hour (as my stuff wasn't selling as fast as it should) but everyone had removed all Morion Earrings from the AH due to the severe drop in price. I ended up buying this instead...

A much needed change in attire for lvl50. I may also save up for this so I can mix and match...

Well last night finally completed the last of the 4 cities in Dynamis, I now having Glacier access at last. Got a good number of crafts to sell last night though 4 lancewood logs @ 80k each, 4 lumps of relic iron @ 30k each, and a colossal skull @ 10k, all in all 450k I make that (wow) plus a few other bits and bobs.

There was one PLD AF2 drop but I'm not in the top lotting group yet so no gear for Tsing ><

Tonight I will finally get my CoP ring, thought 2 1/2 hours would be enough but I forgot to factor in the airship and manaclipper waits on each leg of the journey.

As for Zilart I am keen to finish the storyline, completing CoP and Zilart I think opens some new options to move beyond those into more Bcs etc.

During Dynamis I take it you are treated to nice and expensive drops besides the Relic armour you're searching for? If so I'm looking forward to caning Dynamis as much as possible as that would deter the farming practice I'm so stupendously bored, and at times stressed with.

Some of the lvl.70+ gear I have my eyes on is ludicrously expensive and there's no chance I can afford them unless I'm making 500k each night on something.

Unusal to make that much, you pay to lot on the craft drops in Dynacore that costs 40k. How much you get depends on how many go for it, rather fortunately last night onl 2 of us did and Windurst ahs some of the most expensive drops. Normally I break even(ish).

The highend gear is expensive but even with a little thought they're very fundable. You have to do your research but the markets are there, just to be honest in 75 levels I have barely farmed. Never found a need to and I've never levelled without HQ gears, there's always a buck to be made just finding where to look. I've made millions just reselling others good (e.g. buying up all the morion talthums for 40k and repricing to 80k as an example). Its a risk but if you're careful lots to be made...

Fallows, you want to start looking at ENM's for gil, thats one of my biggest source of income, even the ENM30's can get you some nice gil, plus they all give exp too.

It doesn't always workout well but I have made alot over the course from ENMs.

                            Comment

Yep, it's finding 5 other people to do them with that's the difficult bit.

We made 66,666 gil each on the last one we did.

I used ot do the ENMs regular but stopped due to the failure rate starting to creep up. Using the CoP static we were 100% each week in around 2 - 3 hours, as we changed that success rates fell to the point where we'd be wasting 5 hours for 1 win 1 loss so simply stopepd doing them.

Interested in starting again but only if we get back to the old routine of carrying anima and doing them non-stop, no AFKing for 30 mins mid run and that sort of rubbish. Be interested to look at the wider ENM picture now as well given that some of us can now access all of them.
