If you're capturing at that resolution there's nothing much you can do. I used to capture 50% fps (30fps) at 50% res (640x480) and that was good enough for me, and I'm picky. As long as all text is readable it's right.

Cheers for that, i'll checked the half size tick box in Fraps and it's reduced the file size abit. Is there a method of dealing with multiple video files? I.e merging them into one file.

I actually gave up trying to make WoW vids because it was so much hard work.

You can try reducing your game resolution (only whilst you plan to record videos) to bring it down even more.

If you want to staple them all together you can use Windows movie maker or go one step better and get a dodgy copy of Sony Vegas from somewhere, then you can add special graphics and effects, zooming into funny/n00b parts, etc. Vegas editing is an art in itself. I know you hate WoW but look up a guy called Vurtne, or check out Drakedog 8 for some class editing.

My girlfriend swears by Sony Vegas and uses it all the time when doing her little projects. I downloaded After Effects for her, but she's not had chance to use it yet. I'm sure she'll know how to glue them together.

I couldn't play without that overlay resolution/draw distance etc anymore, i'm too attached to it.

Not fully read today's update for fear of spoilers but it confirms that the Wings of the Goddess nation quest lines will be finished off in the next update. Wonder if each line will have it's own end reward or whether it will be a cumulative thing for clearing all three? Or maybe nothing until the main mission line is finished in the update after the next one.
