      MMM is a huge thing to the JP, they can't seem to get enough of it. I really enjoyed it last time and wouldn't mind doing some more, it has some awesome rewards too.

      Managed to break the latent on Pole of Trials by skill chaining with npc in Fields of Valor, so if anyone could help with NM, that would be great. Will prob do Death Blossom next, as Sword Trial is 240 skill and can level 3 with DB.

        Whilst I enjoyed taking part in MMM, like a lot of things that S-E have added lately (i.e. Synergy) I simply can't grasp a basic understanding of how the entire system works so essentially couldn't even go after specific targets even if I wanted to.

        So these further updates simply add a further layer of complexity to a system that already seems to be bloated just washes over me.

          Indeed, i reckon a good 95% of the popluation don't use synergy, there are far, far to many systems involved, to get anything it out of it you require a high level craft already, need to know 2/3 other high level crafters to help balance the elementals inthe pot for HQ stuff to create 3 "plugs" of various quality, you need endgame shell and **** load of time cos of poor drops rate to get apaths, pigments and decent evo's, andthen to top it of all the evo's are **** inventry wasting mob spec armours, but at least they look cool.

          the only thing that can save this patch is the addon and job adjustments(whatever they may be).

            Yeah, I'm hoping this is S-E saving back the really big changes until nearer the time because frankly what they have announced so far is really underwhelming.

            Job adjustments and how the new level cap is going to work is what people are interested in knowing.

                Well it's been a long time coming, but finally, at around 5am this morning I became the proud owner of a Lu Shang's fishing rod (and a rather ungrateful sounding certificate!)

                Yet to try it out properly however as I'm fatigue capped on Dara until 4pm

                Early tests provided by my lolelvaan look promising however

                        I can't remember, was it possible to buy marbles for your mule characters or just one for the whole account?

                        Might take my chances if I can sort my fishbots with some.

                                Well this isn't the lv.80 cap/Abyssea/job adjustments information we're craving but it's better than what we've been getting.

                                New Weapon Skills to Wield! (04/06/2010)



                                With the much-awaited level cap increase rapidly approaching, the development team is putting the finishing touches on a new set of weapon skills that promise to be formidable additions to players' arsenals of abilities.

                                Today, we're pleased to be able to offer a video sneak preview of the fourteen visually striking new skills that will be joining the fray with the upcoming version update.

                                Can't imagine that Blade: Yu will be any good (single hit weapon skills aren't great for katana (and elemental ones are universally crap) unless this one has a massive modifier or attack bonus ala Tachi: Gekko) and no surprise that the sword (i.e. PLD) weapon skill looks like it's going to be awesome (judging from the animation implies something is drained from the mob, they probably have their own Mystic Boon now ).
