Oh, and Tobal, when you get back on, you need to go up the tunnel, hang a left, go along there, the corridor will turn right, keep going and you'll come out into a courtyard (ignore the second right bend). Then turn left, keep going forward, through into another corridor, turn right then left, and you'll be at the exit.

Sounds confusing, but you're actually very close, and death warp might be a bit extreme in this case.

Oh, and finally, remember those two rooms we thought were identical? Well notorious monsters spawn in both of them, up on that raised centre area. It was why the high levels were camping there ^^.

I'm on Seraph but I haven't had as much time to play FF XI as I've wanted but I'm starting to find some space now (and finally starting to get my head around the game a bit ).

My hume monk is lvl 9 and currently lurking around Bastok, if there is any room for a newbie in the linkshell I'd love to join so I can help out (I know I'm not likely to be that useful at this stage) and get some advice.

lourenzo told me that the LS has replaced the old shell? sorry but i have not visited this thread for a while now so i have no idea wat is going on. i was off on holiday for 2 weeks, came back on just a few days ago.

anyway, im still at lvl 55 drk. but i got two AF armor on now so its kinda great. i will focus on lvling to 60 after over a month concentrating on genkai 1&2, AF quests, coffer keys and money(mind you, i am broke atm ).

does Lourenzo have the pearl for this new LS? btw, another brit, a lvl 61 blm, is in seraph. hes from aberdeen and kinda rich in GIL terms..hehe. his name is Eskeran. might be good to ask if he wants a pearl too

Hehe Aegen, I spoke to Eskeran but he doesn't really want a Linkpearl. Lucky bastard though; a lv. 60 friend of his quit the game, so he got over 1 million gil's worth of items. Grrr .

Yeah we did change linkshells. The original NTSC-uk linkshell was on Akasha but she had to go so we had to create a new linkshell, which we have, contact any of the usual suspects for a new pearl, I think Wedge and Mahlory currently have the ability to create pearls.

My first BCNM fight, fear the blm madragora called Ovorovoi and his little Domovoi friends



I had to kill a dark nm called Marcheulute for WHM AF1 Hammer. Though hes only lvl41-44 hes much harder, hit dimension death attack was doing over 450 damage to our lvl51 pld (half his hp gone), luckily the rdm used phalanx+stoneskin+blink and started to nuke it and tank it for a while, till pld was cured again. First time Cure IV was usefull ^^. Unluckly I forget to have fraps running while i was fighting nm, but a picture from another site :

Vikas - what program are you using to capture your screenshots? The in game one makes them too small.... I have Hypersnap DX, but because it's not registered I get horrible logos all over my pictures.

Know of anything I can use?

yes eskeran is kinda stuck with the LS that me and him are on at the moment. to be honest the LS we belong to is great with some good members and probably the most helpful and productive LS i've been in the game(no offense intended ). i am sure not going to give it up. i want the NTSC linkshell because like any of you here, we started this thing together so might as well play together if we got the chance. i like collecting LS pearls and i think it is worth having the NTSC pearl too. can you guys give me a pearlbag instead? might be useful if i see some other brits in the game, and if eskeran change his mind hehe.

yes, eskeran did had a friend who quit the game. gave him all his accessories and items which is worth around 1 million. he is now spending them on clothcraft which is now lvl 65. it would be great if he can make some good items for me in the future
