Also just been reading up on the leech BCNM20, it is doable by 2 summoners plus 1 other (probably a total of 3 blood pacts required), scary thing is the leeches *do* suck your 2 hour ability so if either summoner took a hit it could all go badly wrong.. no relying on a paladin's invincible to grab hate either.

You would need a copy of the Xbox 360 version as well. Also, if you're buying the UK Xbox version then for future updates you will still need to buy the expansions on the US PC version to register them against your PlayOnline ID, and then you will need to buy them for the Xbox as well to install and play the content on your Xbox. You can't modify your POL ID (with expansions etc) using software from a different region to the one in which you originally set it up.

Another step closer to my final goal as of last night, got a moon bauble safely packed away in my key items at long last. I've been living in fear of NPC contact for months in case I accidentally lost another whisper, so it feels quite liberating lol.

Being so near yet so far has renewed my drive to go levelling, but as is typical I didn't get a single invite last night. Have they changed something cos when I did 'find member' in Jeuno I saw *everybody* with their flag up, not just the people in my level range. That sucks!

That method also smells cos you get all the people who aren't seeking, and the list is truncated due to the numbers. Why did they change it?

Hang on, does the invite part just give you those with flags up? Never knew about that.

i'll doubt you ever find more than 30/40 people lfg, specially on a weeknight which would be more like 15 at most.

Last night was cool but disappointing. Partly inspired by Darwock?s Frog Trousers camping, and partly because me and Apa were bored we headed into the Den of Rancor to hunt Celeste-eyed Tozberry. Another NIN NM that drops a katana (similar to the Hototogisu).

However unlike Beryl-hearted Molberry (which was triggered) this NM was a lottery pop where his window opens at 2 hours after last kill. I wasn?t expecting it to be camped but was somewhat surprised to see a semi-LS member (Haladir) there when we arrived. Whilst he wasn?t best pleased at having competition I also wasn?t going to give up so me and Apa started camping (I was more resolute because he claimed to have been there {long time} when in actuality I had seen him in Jeuno less than an hour earlier). A coffer also was up where we were so in between placeholders we went round the corner to kill coffer mobs.

The NM popped after first round of placeholders and somewhat luckily (for us) the other NIN disconnected at that same moment. So in my eagerness I claimed. Apathye put up Reraise and Stoneskin and set up Barfire for the inevitable Mijin Gakure. However I never altered my gear as appropriate. I should have removed O.Kote in favour of Arhat?s Tekko+1 (for extra evasion and enmity) and got rid of that Bomb Core (-fire resistance). Fight was a little rough but we seemed to be coping (just about).

Then came the Mijin Gakure which hit me for 1848 damage (Barfire and long since dropped without either of us spotting). Even the other NIN who was Elvaan and lvl75 took 1300+ damage and died too although remarkably Apa survived (presumably Stoneskin was still up). He attempted to Ele Seal + Sleep which was resisted but he managed to Bind and used Manafont before firing off a Thundaga III. He says this dropped the NM to 1% HP but a nearby bat aggroed and killed him before he could fire off the last spell.

So close >_<

We stuck around for a while as that coffer tempted us with it?s mappy goodness and after about 90 minutes of killing we managed to get a key which Apa won with a monstrous 948 lot and got the map to the zone.

Plans to go back are already underway ^^

Are the CoP missions following 2-5 which lead up to the Diabolos fight just cutscenes? Or do I have to fight an NM or something for one of these npcs I need to speak with?

Im going to dynamis also, Bastok which drops legs is on saturaday and if i go tonight ill get alot more lotting rights after this run. But thats not until 8pm so im up for the Den of Rancor before that, if we try get there for 5.30 we will have enough for a pop and kill^^~ they will understand if im alittle late, if im in the middle of killing a NM. If your up for that rare!, also i can get on 4pm onwards but i doubt ull be back, so whenever ya can.

I'd very much like my Map to the Den of Rancor and need to skill up staff still so I'd be up for helping out. Got 2 maps on my current to get list DoR and Newton Movalpolis, wondered if we maybe able to try that at the same time as we go for the Rutters?

Just a quick update as well, yesterday I managed to finally get my Moongate Pass and completed my BLM to 25 for WHM sub. This week should see me fianlly reach 42 on WHM and get started on either RDM (10) or NIN (20) to 40.

Things have gone quite well, now starting to thing of camping Lizzie for the bounding boots. Getting those will allow me to sell my leapings and give me 2 million towards the o-kote I want for NIN at 35.
