BCNM, hmmmm yes, Haubergeon is somthing i really do wanna save up for. Anyone any advice on ones a Drk can do? As i believe the party setup is quite important.

I have about 100 seals if anyone wants to arrange one?

DRK is actually quite popular for one of the most popular ?beginner? BCNM40 battles (Steamed Sprouts). You will need a BRD, healer and tank but the actual fight is pretty straightforward. The reason for DRK is use of Stun to stop the casting of Flood which can be quite devastating if your tank does not have Utsusemi.

The money drops from this battle are Scroll of Erase and Scroll of Utsusemi: Ni. A few drops of those across your group and you should make a decent bit of gil (providing you all agree to sell and split).

Not sure about a sprouts run but I could use another Crustacean Conundrum run. REckon the prices on bodies have dropped to around 800k but that will still pay for Utsusmi:Ni.

I've got to lvl 4 by killing cute bunnie rabbits and a few orcs so it's no big loss.

I'm on Hydra at the moment, enjoying it but noone seems to have any time for the newbie which is a bit daunting tbh

Treating other players right can make a difference. I would have quit for certain by now if it hadn't been for the frankly miraculous kindness shown by the other campers when hunting mysticmaker profblix. That one thing turned around my whole attitude to the game.

Then again at low levels you don't *need* that much gil, I know it's all relative but it's not hard to go out and beat up some worms/crawlers/wasps to make money, I mean where was he getting the fireworks from?

Sorry my bad, it's Hades I'm on. It doesn't seem very populated, is it one of the newer servers by any chance?

I looked around on a couple of FFXI forums and very few people seem to post in the Hades section

Of course if it is a newer server / less populated is it better for the game physics if I stay here and try to make friends over here?

heh - I was thinking the exact same thing! Its one thing to receive a little Gil as a newb running around the starting zones with the ? above you - I received 5k this way and I was very appreciative, but standing and /sh for Gil (especially while wasting it on fireworks) makes me want to reach for the violin... then give them diddly squat.

Tsing I still owe you a round of crusteacean conundrum anyway from that night we ran out of time. If i had any confidence in selling mannequin parts I'd be doing one of them myself, but I think I'll keep saving seals for a BCNM60 in the future.

I've bled all my gil sources dry now... sold all teleport scrolls, all ninjitsu scrolls... it's getting bad. I've started looking at my magician's earring and wondering if I really need it anymore (30 mp isn't so big a deal at level 65) but I think the price has dipped lately anyway.
