god dammit get rank 2!!!, and i really don't think fighting the chests in the salvage will work without a smn unless your very, very lucky. Even with 1smn we had last time it took till the last min find the correct chest, and thats with out fighting.

WTF?! Why do you think I'm trying to arrange a set of Assault runs? Only way to get rank 2 is complete Assaults which is what I'm trying to do but whenever I try and complete the individual missions to obtain 5 rank points I keep getting told "you can't do it that way, it's too hard".

Well screw it then. I'll go and merit instead.

Actually, I am not sure how to get Rank 2 (is it the Imp Wing required by President Salaheem I asked about above?) I have completed 4 of the Assaults and done a fair few more...

As for the salvage, it really down to luck more than the Prison doors(we was more a combination of luck and skill) as even with a full team of 6 people there no way in hell of even beating half the chest on the map.

Sadley im not around tointe, but will be Thursday and Friday and most of the weekend i expect so im up for as many assault runs as possible. Ill nip on and grab a token so that i will have the option for 4 assaults. Ive only completed 2 and like rare would like to get higher up the ranks for it. Sadley im only 65 so it would be a push for 70 cap for me, but if you guys are up for 60 cap count me in for as many as poss.

Tali yeah be cool to lvl some more together, makes a exp party more fun havin LS members in it. I do have a KB for my 360 its just when i play upstairs i use a video sender so therefore would need a 40meter keyboard or it to work ><

Ok, I guess nobody knows lol. Well, in that case can anyone assist me in getting an Imp Wing please (as I need one for something!)? I have not fought any Imps yet so I don't know what kind of level they are but it would seem they are Exp'd off in higher level parties than I am.

*If indeed they are required for Rank 2 (I will try and confirm with Tsing as I think he is Rank 2) then I asume several of us will need this anyway.

There's an Aht Urgan quest that involves handing over 2 imp wings (repeatable, same as the sandy bat wing quest), it's a bit of a spoiler to the rank missions to say more than that (another fantastic Salaheem cutscene relating to this), but basically if you have 3 imp wings you'll be sorted for everything.

You could be fighting imps for xp at 68.

Thanks dude Good to know I should be onto Imps for Exp soon as I heard they are very good...! Maybe it is going to be easier to wait for the Wings until I am Exping on the Imps.

Hey anyone here on the 360 have keyboard issues such as extra letters added? A guy I know on my server suffers the same on his 360 version & also my keyboard has the symbols in the wrong place so its quite confusing when moving from pc version to 360 the " is where the @ is....

If you mean extraaaaaaaaaaaaaaa letters like this, I got that all the time on the PS2 - the keyboard sensitivity was all over the place.

No problems as such. The keyboard is indeed setup to be US layout ~ this is an XBox 360 thing (which you don't appear to be able to change), not FFXI. It makes it confusing for a couple of characters but it not much of a problem (indeed for Mac users, its the same layout as the Mac keyboard ).
