Rare, you'll probably find this amusing, but I can't seem to motivate myself to play FFXI either.

The last three times I've been on, my luck with parties has been non-existent. I've been online for more than three hours in two out of those three times, and not had a single party invitation during those times. As you can imagine, this does make me wonder why I'm bothering...

So, now, when I start thinking about logging in, I decide to do something else instead.


The stupid thing is, that I know I've still got loads I could do in the game with just RNG, to say nothing of other jobs if I chose to level them, yet I still can't seem to motivate myself to play.

Oh well, got the weekend off this week, so I might try again (if not before) to get that 1.4k I need to get to level 40.

Dara we need to pick up a CCB Polymer each for the Airship. I know its gonna be tight for you as your skint atm and they seem to be going for 100-130k atm. You would always quest em but its the 3 pso'xja chips needs to get just 1 :/

Gonna plan on going for Airship on Wed. We have 3 NM to kill before hand.

Hmm, thats got me stumped then - these chips are incredibly rare and 2 out of 3 drop from very high lvl mobs which would prevent me soloing them.

On the other hand, I can't afford to buy a polymer for each attempt either (and there's a very good chance we won't clear this one for some time) - even IF I had gil.

I managed to get a party tonight, and got myself level 40, and 2.5k towards level 41.

Not bad for two hours.

I'll definately be on at the weekend now.

I think im having one of my usual breaks from the game at the moment.

I dont know but it feels like at the moment there really is not much challenge available to me, hopefully this will change if I can get back on the missions but I just feel no motivation to merit or anything right now.

When I do get back on I think my priorities in the game will be changing alot.

I dont really care so much for the rewards but more the challenge, so im thinking about trying all new ENMs, BCNMs and KSNMs, I would like to be able to say I have beaten everyone of them, although its unlikely I still would want to try, I just dont think im interested too much in items and gil, just give me some fun boss fights that provide a decent challenge.

Off Topic:

Im really getting back into the Live aspect of my 360 so im going to be on there quite alot, I got the camera on Friday and once I got over the initial strange feeling of being on display I found it really does add alot to a game like Uno, also Texas Hold'em soon will work with it too so if anyone wants a game let me know, or on any other game I got.

Will be buying the new Marvel Alliance this month and maybe Tiger Woods 07, then November there will be a few more online games.

Which CoP mission you on Wedge? Me and Dj should be hitting the airship battle over the weekend if we can get any polymers. Anyone know how many we should aim for? at over 100k a pop I'm hoping not that many

We used 5 believe.

We used a lot of meds, and I mean a lot. 5 polymers were used and I know True used 2 x vile elixir +1 as well for MP, think I used 5 x persikos, 5 x yagudo and about 20 hi-Potions +3 as well as an icarus wing. Most of us I think dumped around 500k into meds for this one and I think that was one of prime reasons we won on our first real attempt.

Make sure you do a dry run first to get the feel, this one is very doable but the bosses are evil to say the least. We cleared with just one wipe and had used very little up till that point, once we knew we were in reach we went for it all out and made it home pretty easily.

I'd ahve to say as always we probably over medicated ourselves but we have done every fight to avoid repeats and accidents. With a NIN tank I think you'll find it easier than we did as EVA PLD is an interesting set up but hey it worked.

When my static did this a long time ago, I believe we ended up using none and going 1/1 on the BC.

Got partying with my mate Triune in the Dunes last night.

He handled himself brilliantly as back-up tank, voking every 15seconds after the main tank. Shared hate perfectly for a group of lvl10s with no sub jobs.
