What are the chances of those people turning up every night for eight hours until everyone has a pair of Alky bracelets? If the THF thinks he's so imperative to drops (which I agree with tbh, farming anything without even TH1 is just monotinous timewasting) then he should be there each night too.

Pallas dropped from my trigger but I handed them to Waine. Cba bickering over 200k, when I'd still need another 200k for my (now on the rise) rope.

I'm a little sick of the game at the moment, for the past two months now I've been doing hardly anything except helping people with drops/missions/quests all so I can have people like Tobal snigger at me for still having AF1 at lvl70+. I mention putting some effort into making some gil it just goes over people's heads. I'm appreciative of all the R/E I've ended up with through back-tracking many segments of the game although without that I'd still be lvl 50+, and totally uncompelled to carry on... and with the rate at which I exp it doesn't last very long anyway.

Even if I get lucky and get raise 400k, I'm going to hit this obstacle again when I get to 68. Noble's Tunic (NQ 1.4mil) and Demon's cloak (HQ 800k). It's just not worth the stress and getting myself upset over.

OK, I rly need to play Halo 3 tonight though. Haven't spoken to friends that will be playing in a long time. Are there any diversions tonight such as Limbus/Dynamis or will people be camping from roughly 6pm onwards? I don't want to turn up at 11pm and expect to take a slice of the pie, another reason why I handed over the Pallas drop.

I have a week off coming up soon so that'll be cool, I can exp during the day and (try to) make gil at night.

My main problem is not knowing what drops what. I remember being Fallows and checking up on all the melee gear that drops from NMs and being able to spot gil making opportunities. Most of the decent lolMage gear comes from BCNM or synthesis onry.

Its not necessarily Tobal (well all of the time at least) :P who has the occasional dig at me because of my gear situation - I find out that joining up with Cunnilimbus, someone out there attempted to persuade asya from preventing me joining on account of me being a quote "noob" which I can accept in a sarcastic manner, but when someone tries to use it against me in such a way, I tend to get a bit pissed.

Afterall, I'm of the same mind as you Davi, in that most of my time is spent helping others, yet when I occasionally need help with an NM or AF etc, all I seem to get is either ignorance or laughter on account of not being able to solo myself because my gear is that bad. If I wanted to play a single player FF, I'd save my ****ing money and go back to FF7.

Farming and crafting are currently blocked off paths for me in terms of gil as daily they become less and less profitable for the cash or time investment involved - I'm always up for a BC/KSNM but noone seems to do them when I'm around. The other method is NM camping, but after Lizzy and her 1/22 my heart isn't in it, especially when someone else claims - I'm currently on my way to 58 RNG to help at least ease the situation so I can use my Loxley bow, but the process is slow and more costly than I'm used to with my other jobs.

hmmm, tbh ive had probs with gilz a few times but now i tend to just over look it now. I mean i just lvl'd nin pretty fast i think, and never really stopped.

My gear wasnt always the best but in a pty you have support members thats the idea.

Only time you want to be worrying about Gear is 70+ as thats the gear your always gonna use. As a DD and now Tank ive gone for TP builds first as your always gonna need that. Then WS builds. My WS build on Drk isnt complete it sill needs Flame, Hecca body and Feet and even a WS Gorget would be nice.

I remember farming for a month on just silk as loldrk couldnt get in BCNM parties or KSNM to raise 6mil for hauby. Now i have nin i find myself bobin off to solo all sorts for gilz. I mean ffs i still dont have Okote or dusk does that make me gimp? Na just i dont as hard as Rare does in his, i have all my STR gear from DRK that i can use on nin so my WS may his harder, is Rare gimp?

You can do perfectly well just normal gear in some jobs, ok it helps havin nice gear but meh normal gear is there to be used too.

I like doing capped events with lower-lvl ppl all the time though, so I AT LEAST like my BLM gear for 30/40/50/60 to get the job done.

Not digging at Tobal either btw - funny guy comes out with some top comments. I'm just eager to get on the same lvl as him and then I can start playing with + taking the piss myself, and hopefully be involved with more things such as totally rinsing+caning all the assaults for the Yigit gears.

These obstacles on the way get me upset that's all.
