Hmm what can I say, RAre and DJ have covered most of it...

My time to spend on the LS now is low, I run / or attend HNMLS events Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Do Dynamis and Tuesday and Saturday and Limbus on Monday and Thursday, in between I'm farming, camping NMs and levelling RDM. It leaves very little free time.

Primes, below level 65 you might as well not be there, you're taken along for the ride at the descreation of others I generally refuse to take udnerlevelled characters to most things. Do the mini-solo's if you want elementals avatars at low level, Diabolos and Fenrir you can't afford to carry anyone and their 2 hours kill 75s let alone below. It's the same for anythign else I don't like to carry jobs through things, Genkai I don't mind as Genkai parties have died out, same as obtaining rank 5.

The rest though is easy, first shadowlord I did in a party (actually 5) all below 60 with a mix of LS and pickup. The next 2 I did 100% pickup for both, I went I shouted I did. You one due to the NIN, a NIN can solo that fight I know as I waltzed through it with one a while ago on his third nation.

CoP going under levelled you are gimping your party thats all there is to it. Our static started CoP with many of us level 30 on our highest jobs, we levelled for each BC we never went with less. For promies Darwock leveled SMN and Tal BLM specifically. Every time we went we took pickups, we didn't have the strategies you guys have to use now, the reason being it was us that built them for others to use.

4/6 runic protals there is no excuse for, I soloed all and being 75 PLD or level 1 makes no odds its all sneak vis and reraise. I died getting a few of them but still got them, that's why I'm 6/6 not some magic.

BC runs are agreed lotting rules, LS generally runs shared drops. If you want a your orb your loot organise one, we all have in our time. You offer your terms if people like they'll do, if not you need to consider why. The most likely is that the ring drop rate is crap odds of getting one is very low so why burn seals on a low return BC. Better to take a higher return BC with shared drops and buy what you want.

I don't mean to have a go or stir any ****. By 3 year club i only meant guys with a few 75 jobs. That's the fun in the support jobs i choose, it involves helping others, when it comes to fighting i'm screwed on my own. I have on several occasions asked for help in advance, 5-1/5-2 for example. When i couldn't get help, i shouted in Jeuno. I would sooner do it with the Linkshell though, after all, isn't that what's it's about? Genkai 2 for example, i was asking for over a week. Yeah of course i was all down to his NIN, i think you missed the point there. I've always stayed neutral until now, i often hear comments of people that and agree and disagree with. It's all now to how you play. I fully respect it was hard to do things back then such as coffers but is it really an excuse not to help others? (Not saying you're using it). I just like to enjoy the game and try and learn as much as possible, i wouldn't know the fitst thing about DD jobs for example. It just gets to me sometimes when i get can't help.

As for primes, i want the drops to store, i've done 4 of the mini's. I'm not into leeching, it would have been a fun event that would have benifited others beside myself.

I admit my recent helping lower levels is next to nothing, like tsing we?re working towards keeping our HnmLs alive after a raft of its older member quit in the last few weeks so we?ve been barely on Rargh until 9pm?ish. Recent months have been, I come on do an event, which is usually followed up by Dynamis or Limbus or I log and do stuff outside ffxi. And that just leaves little time to do things I want like merit or low level job, let alone farming gilz(which is why im poor now).

If you need help, the best way to find out when people are free and get them together for a future date which is pretty much how Rargh's operated in the last 2 years. For me getting help on the fly is the hardest thing in FFxi to do, from when I started to now.

This is what originally shocked me the other night when the Alky's dropped to Goldey... I doubt anyone will ever let me have a 1.1mil drop for the rest of my years on this game. I was under the impression we were splitting the gilz but was wrong. No surprise that she hasn't turned up since, then. If that was me I'd be bumming the people that helped me for days.

Yep, I know now chief, I was just muddled up at the time + day after. I'll be there tonight btw - with (hopefully) some limited time on Halo thrown in before an all night sesh on this. I also didn't know it was her trigger from before we turned up until now, unless I missed that fact in chat.

Yea, I'm not saying I won't help people with coffer keys as they should tough it out like we did. I have done and will do. I think the point was more you're saying you're having trouble getting avatars and an Astral Ring which is pretty premium stuff in all honesty, whereas for us, it was a struggle getting simple AF armour which are now considered a joke to obtain in most instances.

I think a few of us may feel that a few of the posts made by you "young 'uns" lately come across as though you're finding it hard whereas us "old hands" had/have it easy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Myself, I had to farm for a month solid to purchase a Scorpion Harness. Or, for a laugh, mention the words "katana run" to Wedge or Tobal and then imagine the colour fading from their faces as they assume the foetal position in the corner, mumbling about Tonberry and Mijin Gakure death.

As for the avatars and getting the items for Fenrir. Why bother in all honesty? You’re not going to be able to do Fenrir until 70+ anyway, at which point getting the first 6 avatars out of the way won’t be a problem.

Also, for the record, I’ll admit that I probably haven’t helped you as much as some other people for stuff that I would have done. That’s nothing personal against you at all, just unfortunate timing when you’ve requested help. First time I saw you requesting help for Genkai 2 was last night when I was already committed to helping out in Sky. Again it’s nothing personal, I think you’re fine person and player

On other note, I hope things pick up AaD-wise. The game needs more EU based end game shells.

Aye, started of as me Davi and Bevan. Ended up as 10 lol, did it 4 times for 4 drops. As for Fenrir, i like to be stupidly prepared for things, spells, gear you name it lol. I have found this much harder 50 plus though. I'd sooner take the time to enjoy different things, rather then being in a rush for 75.

Like i said, i'm not having ago, i know i'm not perfect. I didn't start using Macros until 40, now i live by them lol.
