Yes, but this is the FFXI forum. You could maybe post about WoW in the lovely dedicated WoW forum.

Have a look, it's just a few clicks away. I believe there was a post last made there 9 days ago

That's not a good thing mate, i've been showing signs of this since finishing from Uni for the summer, i came to the realisation the other day all i've done for 2 months is play FF and not noticed. The ****ty weather hasn't helped i suppose.

Yep - was a bit of a pointless forum after realising me guild has it's own dedicated forum + website, plus the people that play WoW don't have time to use the internet for crap like forums anyway... It's just that I (so far) still have a job.

Post was intended to be a return to FFXI post but I can't think of playing anything (not even the new Mario/Metroid) outside of WoW.

Well got the Sergeant Mamool assault out of the way, was having a mooch on lunch and got grabbed into a party for it. 0 tags again now have to wait for them to regenerate.

              3 clears for cheif sergeant!

              9k for yigit gages ^^

Still lolWow, I just don't get it's to easy to be challenging in anyway.

If you want to solo the green/yellow 'quests' (disguised grind) then it's easy, but then so is EXP in FF.

Me and my mates go for the red quests all the time for maximum exp bonus.

Last night though I had a group of alliance players constantly camping my quest NPCs (and then me as well T T) which resulted in me having to draft in ten members of the guild to sort them all out in return - god, that was satisfying.

The PvP is where the beef is at though. Easily the best online vs. game I've played (over Quake1+III even).

Maybe nothing of major interest but i'd thought i'd post anyway, got my Uni results and passed my 1st year, just need to redo one thing, wish i knew how i'd managed it though D: Need to start knocking back on FF abit.

Cheers Dj, once i've got my kit sorted i'll look into it.

                      Congratulations dude

first year is easy rep ... i just finished uni too rep ... 2nd year is alright but nothing can prepair you for the pace of the 3rd year ... year three is "prepair for a bolloking" year.

Yeah, congrats man. I seriously was expecting to see you go through a rough ride with that as I get nothing done (nor do I care) anymore primarily due to MMOs.

Even at Uni all you seemed to do was skive down in the labs for some FFXI. lol

I'm looking at starting uni (I'll be 27 FFS) in September 2008, before it's well too late. I need to get out a bit and get back into enjoying my work. If I set my aims to be unrealistic and challenging I should be ok.

I'd be ok if I'd avoided a messing from a certain woman and getting all my hair cut off Brittany Spears style.

Depends on course really, I'd say year 3 was harder but only due to having to actually do something for the first time in 3 years. A-levels as far as i could tell were far rougher...

Pretty much I smoked, drank, watched neighbours, messed around bedroom djing and played Street Fighter 2 Turbo. If only FFXI had been around when my annual workload consisted of only 8 weeks of work per year .

All in all it rocked, my main lesson learned was no matter how skint you are drinking a bottle of sherry to get drunk is not a good thing. By any means necessary, a motto never forgotten!

Also, is there any general stategy in Dynamis? Or is it total chaos like Besieged?

3.5 hours is normal for the cities and northlands, CoP takes around 1 to 2 hours depending on the zone.

The runs are long there's no avoiding that one.

there is definite strategy to the runs, without one it would be just death death and more death. The runs are pretty strictly martialed by the officers to get everyone in the right palce etc.

Dont worry about ur gear Rep there are upto 48 people in the zone at the same time so nothing is dependant on you The sooner u start and start getting attendance points the better.

The drops for the normally "Better AF2" in the outlands can be very rare drops.

Its organised chaos Bev, the main tank calls a mob and we all pound it and so on The mobs die far quicker than what they do in aht urgan lag fest.

Bein a pld thou you wont do much attacking, we have tanks grabbing and keeping hold of mobs why mages sleep them. Ready for when the attacking group comes round for the kill.
