    Mega Drive complete Japanese release list

    Does anyone have a complete Japanese release list with all the game numbers as well. I'd like to know exactly how many games there are for the system and what games weren't released in Japan.

    Sorry if this has been posted before.

    Yes.

    But not of games not released as that is always near impossible to list

      As long as I know what's available, that's fine. I want all the official Sega, Namcot, NCS & Taito releases at least.

              Yeah I got lazy in translating the list, Kabuki Fighter is another known name of the game, translates as Devil Party Child Lion.

              Kyukai Dochuuki translates as the Baseball world travel journal... ^_^;

                I have all these but two.

                Given titles are what the english title on the game box or manual is. If in Japanese then the most common know title is used and if this is not know then the translated or romanji title is given.

                Tetris was not a full release but a few copies are around (meaning a few) so is added to this list.

                        Nice although there aren't 554 Japanese Megadrive games... Even official Sega Titles (ie ignoring Tetris, the two Wondermega Cartridges, the Mega CD RAM cart, the two unofficial hentai games and the Modem Cartrdige) into account there are 424 Megadrive games into total. Adding Mega CD (ignoring the Wondermega Collection, Fresh Cleaner and Sega Music CD) and Super 32X takes it to 556 games. Hopefully they won't count the Genesis *spit* games.

                          MD - Do you have any spare Japanese manuals lying about? Quite a few of my games are missing them.

                            That book looks lovely. Anybody know if the reviews are in Japanese or English? Hopefully they're in both like the Sega cover-art book from a few years back.

                              Even if they did count the Genesis titles, MD, surely there are more than 120 available? Something smells fishy about this book.
