Yakumo I recieved my retrocore 12 dvd , with the dreamcast shooters special this morning ! Ahhh its awsome
I twisted my ankle yesterday so havent been able to do much , but having these dvds made the day far more enjoyable

I really liked the segaworld trip on your video Little features like that make it far more endering, and varied.
Cant wait for the next issue,
If anyone here was thinking about buying the dvds, do it, there a bargin, there packed excellently, they have really nice glossy covers and whats more you can sit and watch them on your tv (plus your sending your support to Yakumo)

I have collection card from post office from Friday last week but haven't had time to go and pick it up... I'm failry sure that is RecroCore... cant wait to play - now I have 17" WS notebook as gift ffom my old man.

Its a cd jewl surounded by 2 other empty ones to protect it , and I saw one still had a price tag from a place called "hard off" which made me chuckle over the engrish

hehehe, yep I have 100's (No Bull !) of empty CD cases taht are scratched to death so I just use them as packing some times

Retro Core 13 is being encoded and editied as I write this. It's the Tokyo Game Show special and let me tell you that it's got some REALLY nice stuff on it that you'll be wetting your pants for. Just take a look at these shots taken directly from the digital video tape

that's the sort of quality you can expect from Retro Core None of this out of focus ****e that other videos on the net normally have. There will be a DVD and the MPEG 4 versions available by Friday I hope. Running time will be about 1 hour. The DVD version will also feature a high resolution slide show with over 70 pictures of booth girls and the actual booths.

Just finished watching the Dreamcast Shooter Special, and really enjoyed it - thanks. Although as usual I disagree with a lot of your comments (Zero Gunner 2 a bit lacking? WHHHAAAAATTTT????!!! )

Any plans for more of these types of compilations? I must say I enjoy them more than the standard Retro Core episodes (probably because I'm not interested in NES & mobile phone games really). Maybe Saturn and Dreamcast Fighting Specials?

There will be a Saturn & a Dreamcast fighting special coming in the future. Maybe one will apear for Christmas. For now though you've got the Tokyo Game Show special with loads of goodies and the Akihabara special too which I'll encode next week.

finally picked up DVD from post office and watched last night.
Very impressive mate...

one thing though with Sega World segment.
Were you holding video camera while riding bicycle?
Also did you hide the camera while inside or just avoid the staff?

I'd be pulled over in no time if I do that over here - not to mention mandatory helmet wearing... (it makes me look stupid you see...)

my old man has one of those pin hole camera lens adaptor - you know the type current affair sometime use when going undercover.
don't ask where and why he got it but he had a bag modified to put the camcorder and lens seeing thru tiny hole at the side.
The downside of that is you get the footage looks like through the fish eye - hence the name.

In Japan theres no law against driving a car or riding a bike while using a video camera. There is one however for driving a car while using a mobile phone.
