    Cool, I must play CRII

It's worth checking out (happens on the 2nd level). There's some other great effects on the latter levels too. And as a Briuce Bonus it's not a bad game at all

If you can mate Try and get, or download Adv Of Batman & Robin.
You really won't believe what the MD is doing in that game (Graphics wise) Shame that the game it's self isn't that great. And it's just way to too hard

TA - I think G-Loc is worthy of inclusion in this topic - the game isn't the best but I maintain that some of the graphical effects are impressive.

And as for After Burner II, I recently got this again (it was one of the first MD games I ever played) and I'd forgotten just how good it was. The sense of speed is incredible and the fact that the rotation is fake matters not - it's still pretty convincing.

Fair enought mate. I just don't like the graphics on G-Loc much (MD). Still that is just my own view.

You're spot on about AB II though. It is stunning, it was bloody jaw dropping at the time this 1st game out. Like you say the sense of speed was incredible..

Also been playing a bit of Chuck Rock II and the roation effect on the part where a tree is falling in to the lava is truly jawdropping.

Oh and Tiger Heli on the MD as the best AI trick I've even seen in a shooter.

I played a bit of Chuck Rock II, too. It's quite a funny game but also quite odd to play, very smooth, like a typical Amiga platformer (not really surprising). I may play it through, it's quite good (I liked the bit on the first stage where the dino walks across the screen)... maybe we should start a thread on retro game play progress, or something.
