For shame, I never knew Kiki Kaikai was on the PCE. How does it compare to the SFC version? Is it expensive?

It is absolutely no comparison, the SFC version is miles better. It generally tends to go for around the ?30 on PCE.

With my track record, these are sound assumptions. I wonder who actually has that sun faded supermasters now?!!

I'm extremely bias, but i'm a big fan of the Valis games, particularly III, IV & Fantasm Soldier on CD Rom. Reality is they are bog standard Castlevania clones with some nice anime designs for the time, and great soundtracks......the music is a real highlight, you get a few nifty moves and can change characters on the fly to suit scenarios.
